"The hotel is basic and close to the Cabarete beach. It’s very outdated, but its the unique of it. The breakfast is good with few options to choose from. You need to get ay extra for espresso… the staff is friendly and helpful. You need to give 200$ (US Dollars) for deposit on check in. On the check out they sent someone to check the room and if you didn’t broke anything, they will return the deposit back. Pretty nervous because you don’t know if the room had something broken before you came....

"The lodge was very rustic and sort of charming. However, it could use some serious TLC. The room we stay in was in serious need of repair and furniture. The pool and jacuzzi were not in working order. The food cooked for us by their cook was fabulous! The bar and bartender staff were very nice! The breakfast was good as well. The best part was the “wild” beach and dinner by it! My friend and I had a great time! A night or two there would be recommended."
