In need of some major upkeep
The location of the pousada is great. The staff did the best they could, they are very nice. However the pousada is just not in the greatest shape. We had the master suite, the nicest room in the pousada and even it just wasn't kept up. It has some charm, Ill give it that, and its hard for me to write a negative review. But the balcony door didnt close all the way, the bathroom window didnt close at all, despite that, we felt safe, but the large gaps allowed for bugs. We had a small roach, lots of ants and a lizard in the two days we were there. The mattress under the sheets looked at least 20 years old, frayed and stained. The upkeep of the property is also poor, the hot tub has no water and looked like it didnt for a very long time. And I won't even get into the story of how I booked the room on Orbitz and when we first showed up they had no record of our reservation and said they never heard of orbitz, despite the fact I had my printed confirmation in my hand! Unfortunately I just cant recommend this hotel nor could I stay there again.Its too bad, it really has potential!

Location great. Comfort lacking
Location is awesome. Owners are very nice, but conditions of bed and TV were bad. Also, house keeping didn't change our towels even though I put them on the floor. Apparently they don't give clean towels even if you stay longer ( we stayed 4 nights). So after second day we had to use damp towels. Comforter was full was yellowish stains. TV is very old. Bed is very uncomfortable. When it rains water leaks into the ceiling. Breakfast was Continental and good.

Lleno de hormigas, busquen otra
La posada está muy descuidada, tiene humedad por todos lados, nuestro cuarto era pequeño, el techo tenia humedad, una pared tenia unas manchas negras, no había lugar para apoyar al menos la valija o nuestras cosas. Solo había 2 muebles, eran viejos y estaban descuidados, estaban llenos de hormigas, no podías dejar nada sobre ellos o dentro de ellos. Antihigienico dejar tu cepillo en el baño y luego encontrarlo lleno de hormigas sobre él. El espejo del baño era viejo tenia 2 manchas negras en el medio que no sabíamos qué era. El cambio de sábanas no era ni cada 2 ni cada 3 días, lo teníamos que pedir nosotros y así y todo cambiaban una sábana y la otra la dejaban igual. La ubicación es buena, el desayuno era abundante, la buena onda de Felipe y de Vera que eran los dueños, pero no basta todo esto para poder cumplir con lo que uno está pagando. No vale lo que cuesta esta posada. Incluso fueron muy amables los dueños durante nuestra estadía pero el último día cuando nos íbamos ninguno de los dos estuvieron presentes como para al menos devolverles la llave de la habitación, tuvimos que dejarla en un lugar y avisarles por mensaje a ellos dónde estaba, mensaje que jamas fue respondido.
