"This was one of our favourite hotels ever! Nothing beats that view… seeing it the first time on arrival is breathtaking. In general the decor was beautiful and unique and added to the sense of relaxation. The food was delicious - both the great breakfast spread and the lunch/dinner menu. And the cocktails were top notch and watching the sunset from the bar was something we did almost every night of our stay in Buzios. All the staff and servers were friendly and helpful. So happy that we picked Vila D’este for our stay in Buzios!"

"Staying at Insólito was an unforgettable experience. The property offers absolutely stunning views — waking up to the serene beauty of Praia de Ferradura is something special. The location itself is perfect: quiet and peaceful, ideal for relaxation, and just a quick 5‑minute Uber ride into town. The staff truly elevate the stay. Everyone was warm and attentive, and a special mention goes to Tiago at the restaurant and Rodrigo who made the best coffee in the morning. This hotel is the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. Highly recommended ."

"Staff and location was excellent. Hotel has good amenities (pool, restaurant, sauna and steam bath). Rooms and facilities were a bit tired. Needs a scrub and a fresh coat of paint. Breakfast was delicious and generous. "
