Colonial home bed and breakfast
Seems to have many repeat customers. Especially parents with students at University of Vermont. Coffee delicious and breakfast above average. Rooms are quiet. Beds comfortable. However there were maintenance mishaps. King size bedrooms are nice. Bathrooms are small. Location is walkable to town and schools.

Don't miss breakfast!
A mixture of business and pleasure in Burlington -- first time there. Breakfasts were phenomenal; homemade cookies in the afternoon; what not to like! Positioned well for the waterfront but a steep hill. Enjoyed our stay and would go back again for the value.

The innkeeper,Kim, is a real treat and pleasure to talk with. Her staff was great and went out of their way to make our stay very pleasant. The breakfast was wonderful. We recommend staying at Lang House when you are in Burlington.

Homely, welcoming atmosphere was a huge bonus, it was like coming home. Our hostess Kim was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. She is a genuinely lovely person and put us at ease immediately. There were no negatives to our stay, I wouldn't think twice about staying there again.

Lovely place to stay. The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming. The location was great as it was within walking distance to Church St and to UVM. The room (Fisher) was very comfortable with a nice size private bathroom. I would keep in mind that the bed was very high up so it would not work well for the less mobile. It was however, extremely comfortable. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious!

I had the most wonderful time staying with my boyfriend at the Lang House on Main Street. The house was charming, the room was comfortable and full of personality, the staff was friendly, and the location was convenient, within walking distance of downtown Burlington. The absolute highlight was the incredibly delicious breakfast, cooked to order in the morning. After breakfast, we sat in the living room with a blanket and had coffee watching the rain outside. I have been to other bed and breakfasts in the US and in Europe, and this was my favorite bed and breakfast experience by far. I highly recommend a stay at the Lang House for a quintessential New England B&B experience!

Lovely Stay - Again!
This is my third time staying with the lovely folks at Lang House. Once again, they did not disappoint. The ambiance is wonderful throughout. With off street parking and lovely gardens, it is a pleasure to move about the property. Once inside the decorum is comfortable and inviting. Rooms are well appointed with nice furnishings and comfy beds. The tea station downstairs is a nice touch for a late night cup. Breakfast is tasty and wonderfully presented. Everything about the place is thoughtfully put together to make your stay enjoyable, I highly recommend it!

Wonderful Stay
We were only in town for one night but we had a wonderful stay at Lang House. The location is perfect - between UVM and Church Street. Kim and the staff are welcoming and so helpful. The House is beautiful and comfortable. The food was delicious. We can't wait for our next visit.

Great location. Walk to UVM or Downtown.
Loved our stay at Lang House. We had things to do on campus and downtown and like to walk so the location was perfect. The building is beautiful and very nicely appointed, the staff wonderful and the breakfast was excellent.

This is my third stay at Lang House - I keep returning! the rooms are comfortable and spacious. lots of little touches that show the guests that they 'get it' - comfortable seating, lighting you can read by, tea station for that bedtime drink, house robes, local information. The staff is friendly and attentive. The breakfast is absolutely delicious! Easy access to town and university. Off street parking. Highly recommend a stay when visiting Burlington!

Our stay at the Lang House was my first experience with a bed and breakfast and we loved it. My husband and I stayed there as part of an anniversary trip. The room was comfortable and cozy. The staff was very friendly. But the food was my favorite part of the experience. Breakfast each morning was my favorite meal of the day, the food was amazing. And every afternoon there would be a sweet treat waiting and I couldn't wait to try it! If we ever go back to Burlington, the Lang House would be top of my list to stay again.

Favorite Bed and Breakfast!
I have only great things to say about the Lang House. Beautiful, charming, lovely, spacious room with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Delicious, gourmet breakfast. Freshly brewed local coffee awaiting me in the morning to help myself to. Tea and freshly baked cookies available all afternoon and evening. (everything I'm mentioning included in the price). Breakfast offerings and cookies change daily. Very kind, friendly staff. One afternoon I was relaxing in the common room and the front desk girl, Danielle, said she had just brewed some coffee and would I like some! Another young man, Aaron, suggested local restaurants and they were all great! I have stayed in several different hotels in Burlington since my son attends Champlain College and this will be the only place I stay in the future. Loved it! (By the way Champlain College is right across the street and UVM is right down the street.) Short walk to town.

Lovely inn in Burlington
The Lang is a beautifully run inn. Our room was well appointed, large, comfortable, and beautiful. The inn itself is lovely too. The included breakfast was amazing. The evening cookies were also terrific. And, every person working there, were wonderfully helpful and nice. Oh, and the location was super convenient- walk to town or to the university. We absolutely will stay again!

Charming, Comfortable Inn with Great Staff
The Inn is located on the edge of downtown Burlington, and it requires less than a 10 minute walk to get to the heart of the historic and shopping districts, full of live music, restaurants, and lake views. A few more minutes of walking and you are right at the waterfront. The Inn is well kept, comfortable, with very attentive and personable staff. The breakfast was delicious, fresh and perfectly presented.

Cozy and comfortable for everyone in your family
I booked three rooms for my family for my son's Graduation from Champlain College. The rooms were large and very comfortable. Everyone who works at the Lang House was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing every morning with large portions of great recipes such as almond encrusted french toast. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Champlain or UVM... you are practically on both campuses. Fresh baked cookies are set out every afternoon and we had a few cheese plates while we were there which were great. Thanks for everything, we had an awesome weekend.

Lang House Hits all the High Notes
This is a great place to stay since you can't beat the location mixed in with the overall charm of the property. The room we stayed in wasn't big but for a short stay it was perfect. The Breakfast was fantastic but its the service of the staff that makes this place unique. Everyone we chatted with was friendly and helpful especially the Innkeeper!
