"The hotel was really funky! Just felt a bit ‘different’ which I liked - a lot! The room was massive, as was the bathroom. The bed was comfy although my son said the sofa bed was quite hard.
There wasn’t any storage in the room, just a rack for hanging stuff. This was fine, but some things need a draw or a shelf, not a hangar! And it would have been really nice if it had had a fridge and a kettle for making hot drinks.
The gym was ok - not that much in it if ur not into strength training, but the weights were good and varied!
Breakfast was nice - lovely breads, fresh fruit, and cereal. The cooked option was limited to scrambled eggs and bacon (and a I think waffles) so if that’s your thing you might be disappointed. Lovely coffee too!
The staff were a mixed bag! My son had food poisoning on the day we arrived and was sick on the carpet in the bedroom. I asked at reception what I should do about it as I had nothing to clean it with and the lady was quite abrasive - told me she would mention it to housekeeping and that was all she could do. As it was already quite a stressful situation I didn’t feel this was very helpful or empathetic. The guy however was totally the opposite, super friendly, offering to charge my power bank after we arrived late in the afternoon after the shops shut and realised our European adaptor didn’t fit the sockets in Switzerland.
Overall though a great little hotel and would stay agin!"
