"My stay at iQ Hotel was wonderful, the staff was amazing. I highly recommend this hotel to stay at when you are in Milan. Where the hotel is located is near other wonderful restaurants. The transportation system in Milan is very easy to learn. This hotel also has an amazing restaurant called Liquido rooftop bar, with wonderful server name Elizabet."

"There was an issue with the first room but the staff were really helpful and we were accommodated in another room. In fact all the staff were kind and polite and eager to help. Location is really good if you want to be near to Milano Centrale railway station and the metro. Not true city centre but convenient. Small shop nearby that opens late and good for th Mercato Centrale for food options. Were other food options nearby but didn’t try them. "

"If your looking for an honest unbiased review this is it Pros: -Cheaper booking price -front desk employees do their best to fix your issues -Upgrade our beds from double (which is more like a single) to a real double -about 15 minutes walk from comasina metro station - bar staff are very nice -shower water pressure is good - front desk speaks english Cons: -Hotel surroundings are very old and a lot of the buildings look abandoned/ burnt -safety is completely compromised (will expand on this later) -hotel lobby has absolutely no amenities -Rooms lack any sort of coffee or tea no glass ware no cutlery very basic plastic cups and two water bottles provided in a room fridge that doesn’t really work -Tv in room is very small -very noisy occupants -washroom only includes a tiny bar of soap and 2 in one shampoo and body wash -tourist tax is 10€ daily per person which is much more then usual -some whole floors and room smell of pure cigarettes -ac is non functional and is about 50 years old -very low quality breakfast offered at very premium 25€ Overall this isn’t a 4 star hotel by any means even a 3 star is pushing it don’t come here and expect any sort of luxury this hotel gives you the bare minimum to survive. now back to the safety before we came me and my sister had looked at reviews indicating possibility of theft therefore we decided to keep as many valuables with us during the day as possible on the third and final day House keeping entered our rooms"

"I was attributed room 1001, on the mezzanine (floor A) which is equipped with a second, sound-proofing door in order to isolate the room from the vast lobby below. It was effective. However, there was simply no WiFi coverage at all in the room, especially from the desk at which I wanted to work in my laptop. This was reported shortly upon checking in (at 18:00), to which I was told nothing could be done but a note would be made. I can’t expect this to have been an isolated case, the wifi throughout the hotel having been reported as poor by other guests in several reviews. Breakfast was adequate. All members of staff were friendly and professional (Adil and his colleagues at reception, the very friendly lady and her crew in the breakfast room). "

"The Spice Hotel Milano has a location that is not very convenient for visiting the historic center of the city, as it requires about a 20-minute walk to reach the main attractions. The room was quite small and not very well arranged, with very limited space. There was no proper area to store large suitcases and no drawers to organize clothes, which made the stay less comfortable. Another downside was that the air conditioning was not operating because it was considered outside the summer season. At times the room became very hot, and the only option was to open the window at night, which unfortunately allowed a lot of outside noise to come in. Overall, the hotel may work for a short stay near the train station, but the room comfort and temperature control could be improved."
