"Absolutle gem of a hotel. We stopped in a villa and it was so luxurious walking straight out into the pool. Even the building works next door didnt impact our stay. From the moment we were picked up at Padangbai harbour, the staff were freindly and attentive. A welcome drink, very tasty food, breakfadt in villa at no extra charge and a shuttle to the local beach. All fantastic. 100% recommend. For the hotel - would recommend putting different coloured edging on the steps in the pool as VERY hard to see where edge is which makes it accidents waiting to happen."

"Oh my, Lord! I should have stayed longer. I will definitely be back. I thought I was going to get eaten alive by the bugs & critters. That was far & between, no critters entered the villa. I heard them, but it was very comfortable. The grounds & the villa were absolutely amazing. The food, excellent! The villa was to die for. The staff was beautiful, friendly, helpful & at my side to help at every call. Did I say the villa was to die for, beauty everywhere... Pictures were amazing, the villa looked just as it did online. I will definitely be back & will stay the full time at The Hideout Eco Bamboo House. Bali, was such a beautiful place, but the villa was the icing on the cake... The hotel driver really went the extra mile when we had possibility we could have missed our ferry. It's a bit out of town but the views were great."
