The pictures on tbe web were not of the suite we were assigned. Although it was a non smoking suite the apartment was so heavy with smoke we got stuffed up even with the windows open for two days

Great stay, completely satisfied, and staff was super friendly and helpful. Don’t be put off by the location, using the metro was convenient, and it’s really not a far walk to the city center.

Plus points - Local to the shops. Even though a 30 Euros cleaning charge is taken the property was not to standard. There was a nail clipping that we found in the living room when we got there and a drink had been spilt by the sofa that hadn't been cleaned properly together with dirty skirting boards - I wasn't impressed.

There was a lidl very close by.The rooms were nicely decorated.The tea and coffee facilities could be more or the reception could have some so you can top yours up.

They do not do what they promise. We had a leak for 5 days. We went to reception every morning but still no one came. We had to use our one set of towels that we get on the floor so it soaks up wet floor! Staff were friendly but just didn’t keep to their word. Not acceptable Place is a bit run down in bathrooms otherwise apartment is ok.

Found parking on road free from 2000-0800 and weekends. Have to pay €5/ night for air con. Beds really comfy, memory foam. Need to use train, metro, car, tram unless you like to walk to get to inner city Budapest. Would stay here again.

Great location & very comfortable apartment
I felt very safe going out especially in the evenings, great location to get to everywhere and great amenities on our doorstep. The apartment itself was clean, tidy and the bed was really comfy and had everything we needed.staff were really friendly and helpful

Nice apartment, not that convenient
The apartment was very well appointed with spacious rooms and good facilities and quiet. The complex is actually 3 separate residential apartment blocks. It seems like those not on long term lets are rented out to visitors. There seemed to be a long list of extras not obvious until after booking and despite ebookers offering free cancellation this was not allowed by the terms of the contract with the accommodation. Despite paying 38% tax to ebookers there was still a charge for some sort of tax on arrival. The information sheet said there was a 20e key deposit. We were asked for 70e. I have not stayed in a "hotel" that charges a cleaning fee before

Great Apartment in a nice area
We could not complain at all about our apartment it was clean large and comfortable with 3 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We really appreciated the presence of a washing machine where we could wash and dry our clothes easily. They have good cooking facilities but there are also plenty of restaurants just outside the door. Our biggest problem in Budapest was the temperature of mid 40s each day but the apartment remained cool and pleasant to be in. There is one thing that you do need to be careful of though and that is the extra charges that you pay when you arrive. They asked us for quite a lot extra but ended up only able to charge us for what was listed in our booking which was quite a saving for us..

Very nice clean apartment, helpful reception staff
Nice clean apartment, reception staff spoke good English & were very helpful. A bit far out from centre if you want bars & nightlife. There are a few nice restaurants within 2mins of the apartment block & there was a supermarket really close by in the shopping centre. Only a five minute walk to the metro. Pick up to & from airport was arranged by Sun Resort Apartments, a taxi was waiting for us when we landed & was on time to take us back. Free wifi but have to pay for air-conditioning.

Nice apartment in residential area
Great facilities nearby lidl next door and restaurants and shopping mall close. Apartment good size as two bedrooms. Good kitchen area. Shame two double beds in both if travelling with kids. Air con is only in the lounge so the bedrooms get very hot. Metro only ten mins and river only 15 minutes walk. Check in a bit disorganised and our room wasn't ready on time. Overall would still recommend particularly as apartment was completely sound proofed.

Really good hotel, 100% recommend
The hotel was perfect for what we wanted. They accommodated us brilliantly and the staff were amazing. They helped us with sight-seeing and managed to find us a taxi back from Buda at midnight within 10 minutes when we couldn't get back to the hotel. The room was clean and big enough, nicely furnished and included everything you needed. Lidl was less than a minute walk away and theres lots of cafes and restaurants along with a huge shopping centre near by. It was a great holiday and the hotel was amazing. We cannot recommend it enough.

First time in Budapest and I enjoyed it. The staff was helpful I was able to book tours with the reception and they were accommodating when we showed in early for check in and asked the cleaving staff to clean our room sooner. Although the room was only ready half an hour before actual check in time I still appreciated their efforts

Good location, but...
It's behind Corvin Plaza in the 8th District, on one of the most jazzy and vivid locations. The apartment I was in was O.K. but be aware, you should pay for everything. For instance, 5 Euros for a remote control to switch on the air conditioner/day, 20 Euros deposit, cleaning, WiFi sometimes horrible. When I complained about the rip-off to a guy at the reception desk, he was absolutely ignorant and impolite. Very bad experience. As much as Sun apartments look excellent and in good shape, the hospitality and service is disappointing.

Helpful staff and comfortable stay
We enjoyed staying there and very thankful as they were very helpful in storing our luggage whilst we were away for a couple of days. I cannot really fault this apartment except the fact that the drum inside of the washing machine was rusty but then we did not really need it. Overall I was very happy and in particular, having additional insect screens was very good. You would receive a through check-in information email which was very helpful. We did not need to use an air conditioner, however, there is a charge for using it so do bear that in mind when booking.
