"Absolutely lovely experience, so much history and fun to the place, my only complaint was some of the food was cold and the amount of dogs which decided to fight was a little bit much. Staff lovely though especially the one on reception."

"I expected something average but got something truely exceptional. I can say without doubt this was the most comfortable, clean, roomy, well maintained and beautifully renovated accommodation I have EVER stayed in. The staff were super friendly. The breakfast was exquisite. The pub itself is charming and the dinner menu full of local produce and the meal I had was delicious. I was worried about where to park the car in such a tiny village but there is a big car park at the back. Definitely recommend. 11 stars! "
