He communicated directly and what to expect when driving to Victory Villa. The road getting up there isn't great, but totally doable in a car whether day or night. For someone with major passenger anxiety, I didn't particularly enjoy the drive. However, it was well worth it once we reached."

"The owners and staff were warm, welcoming and always willing to help. Very nice people. Loved that they had recycle bins throughout the property and separate bins in the villas for organics and other materials. The property and trails were beautiful, the flowers, plants, fish pond and ducks were nice to see. There were lots of birds to see and hear. Overall a great place and cant wait to go back."

"I stayed at Lorna’s Cottage for one week. Communications with the property before, during and after were excellent. I was able to check-in early, which was an added plus. Three of the amenities that I look for in this area of the world include good A/C, strong internet and a generally quiet environment. All three were excellent. "I booked only because I’ve stayed there many times before and they are known for the amazing breakfast with local and foreign foods, I was sooooooo disappointed to see that only one item was local (buljol), the bake that was served was as dry as cardboard…let’s talk about the room, it was clean, but the shower was sooooo dated that water was spilling out as the door wouldn’t close to seal properly, the toilet handle kept slipping off the latch for proper flushing, had to take the cover off to manually flush…and water was running out from the toilet onto the floor, gross…this is my last stay there…the many times I’ve stayed there and enjoyed everything about the place, now to this, the grounds are well kept, the staff was wonderful but those things are not the room…which is what I paid for…good luck to Magdalena Grand in the future, really hope things change to bring me back🙌"

"Wonderful and Relaxing Stay at Bacolod Beach! I had such a nice and relaxing stay at Bacolod Beach. I really enjoyed all the amenities, and the staff were welcoming, attentive, and friendly. The restaurant was great, and everything about the place just felt comfortable and peaceful. One of my favorite parts of the stay was waking up in the morning to the sound of birds, and falling asleep to the waves from the ocean. Sitting on the balcony, listening to the water, was incredibly calming. Overall, it was a beautiful experience, and I truly enjoyed everything. I would definitely come back again!"
