Remodled older motel in beautiful rural setting. Very quiet, surrounded by great land and towering pines. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great restaurant next door. Town is tiny but has full sized convenience store. Love this place!

Beautiful Place

This motel is tucked away in the woods, in an absolutely beautiful area. The room was extremely clean and very homey. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. This was our second stay and both times were great.

A Brownsville surprise!

I was pleased, no, amazed at the quality-price ratio of this motel. Rooms are decorated with themes ( ours was nautical) and are very clean. Management, David, was friendly and accommodating.

This was a nice place to stay. The rooms are clean and fairly comfortable. The bed could have been more comfortable but was not the worst. The restaurant next door served delicious, creative dishes. Unfortunately, when we checked in, we had to wait almost 30 minutes for someone to arrive to let us check in, around 6pm. This was not communicated well so we stood outside waiting in the cold for most of that time. They did provide us a late checkout as an apology but it just started the stay off on the wrong foot. I booked this hotel wanting to give 5 stars based on my prearrival experience but dropped my rating due to this arrival issue. A note or more information could have been left for us. It was frustrating that we had to make 5 phone calls to finally find out that we had to wait what we were told would be "another 10 minutes" and ended up almost being 20. :(
