La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tulsa Broken Arrow
6/10 Okay
"I came in town to celebrate my niece's graduation. My husband and I booked two rooms with double beds during our stay. I rated my room for the following reasons. When we initially booked the room. We thought it was the LaQuinta we normally stay at, but it wasn't. I will say the lobby was clean and the location was great.
1. Bed sheets wasn't clean upon arriving in both rooms.
2. There was hair in the shower and refrigerator in my room. And it was hair in the sink and toilet in my boys room.
3. In my boy's room, their TV wasn't working. We had to call the front desk. The maintenance guy fixed it the next day.
4. In my room, the phone wasn't working. The all labels on the phone was missing. I didn't know which bottom to use if I wanted to call the front."
"Location good. Breakfast choices were great but at opening time, food was cold on hot buffet. That’s a no no. We did not understand that the room we reserved was a connecting bedroom. The window that looked out to the lobby walkway was in our bedroom with no way to black that out. Very small indoor pool only. The noise of kids running around and around in each floor in the afternoon and evening caused us to notify the security guard. He was mildly interest and we saw him speak to them. He said it happens a lot and kids throw ice down among guests occasionally. Come on parents!! Do better!! Room was very clean. Beds were perfect. Love the ability to use phone as remote and key card."
"The hotel looks very nice and fancy but the bathrooms definitely need some upgrading. The bathtub was filling up while in shower wouldn’t drain water. The toilet was bubbling at 4 am all morning like it was clogged and didn’t let me
Sleep."
"First thing after check in was the fact that after three tries with our room keys not working (front desk) re-doing keys twice, still not working, they gave us a different room. Then out of three elevators, only one was working. The hair dryer in the room did not work. We were put on the third floor. The second night, we came back to hotel and were informed that the one “working “ elevator had not worked all afternoon. The front desk clerk said she was “trying to get to it”. She took out a long stick and went somewhere. I didn’t want to wait and get stuck on it, so we walked up the three flights. We got ready to leave the next morning, and found a sign on the elevator, out of order. Do we had them to carry all luggage down three flights. Will not/can not recommend this hotel . Also, they made us sign out towels for pool, if not signed back in, there would be a $10/towel charge. I’ve never heard of a hotel charging for pool towels"
"Room was decently clean and comfortable. The air conditioning unit made screeching noises every night for about 2 hours and it was very difficult to sleep through. However, the fitness room and available laundry room really came in handy and were very useful. Good location for the business I needed to take care of while in town."
