Det var et fantastisk sted og alt fungerer, beliggenheden er også perfekt udgangspunkt til udflugter og byen super hyggelig. Værelserne og indretningen er gennemført og nyt og lækkert. "Pension Barbara is a very cosy and clean pension right next to the paths leading up to The Brocken. The hostess was very sweet and attentive, and we had a good stay. Schierke as a town is a bit dated and quiet in the autumn, when we visited. Is was difficulty to find a place to just have a couple of drinks etc. The national park, Brocken and paths are all excellent for a short hiking-holiday. Great nature, chalenging paths (if you want it), nice restaurant on the summit."

"Very nice appartment with everything you could need. Nice building with lots of activities for the whole family. The only downside is that theres is a lack of parking spaces because the number of handicap spaces not being used is way too many."
