Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and it's a nice hotel but far too warm to sleep. The first room I was given was 25 degrees when I opened the door. room2 Southampton Hometel
Very good room overlooking the park. The heating worked well and quickly. The kitchen/diner area was very convenient. The breakfast choice was limited and quality average. We didn’t try an evening meal there.

The shepherds hut I stayed in for one night was so warm and cosy, it was like staying in a giant wendy house. I would have liked face to face contact with the host, but I guess thats a "sign of the times" Beautiful view of the countryside.
