"We were originally assigned a ridge cabin which was completely unsatisfactory. After submitting a review we were offered an alternative cabin which was much larger and newer. Whilst the cabin had two bedrooms and the facilities better, the same problems rose their heads. As a seasoned traveller I expect certain items within my accommodation: Shower gel/ body wash Shampoo Plugs for sinks Good sized towels that dry you adequately Washing up liquid Unfortunately even in the updated cabin we had no plug or was up liquid, luckily we carry our own The major issues seem to centre on one group; that being the cleaners Why would you not clean the toilets thoroughly or remove black marks of walls and cupboards? We even discovered an empty pizza box and chocolate bar wrapper in the bedroom( look behind the bedside cabinet) My suggestion: the property manager create a tick list of the kpiโs and get the cleaners to confirm they are completed This then provides evidence for the manager to conduct random checks and address any failings. This would necessitate the cleaners being given 30mins to clean instead of 20mins maybe? It would however prevent poor reviews such as mine"

"Beautiful river nothing amazing about the caravan is park unless you get a cabin near the river the park has nothing to offer you The cabins were clean but the first night we didnโt have enough sheets to make the beds no pillowcases at all to cover the pillows The park needs a huge update it is quite run down I wouldnโt go in a hurry but only if I can get the cabins near the river"

"Our stay at Jamala Wildlife Lodge was an amazing and unique experience. It began with a scrumptious afternoon tea before an informative guided tour of the zoo with Ellie (apologies if the spelling is incorrectly). We stayed in a beautiful, African themed Giraffe Treehouse room and were able to enjoy the 2 giraffes, Skye and Khamisi up close. The room was tastefully decorated with unique African artifacts and was well-appointed and clean. Pre-dinner drinks and the delicious dinner were very enjoyable. Breakfast next day was equally delicious and a leisurely self-guided tour of the zoo, whilst observing the huge variety of animals was a lovely way to end our stay before checking out. A great visit with friendly and attentive staff."
