Tracy and Peter are great hosts. The only withdrawal with the property was the seats. Seats weren’t quite comfortable. The rest was great!

Lovely
The landscape gardens around the accommodation is beautiful and well kept. The accommodation was clean, well equipped. The reception is virtually contactless but available if needed. We found it quite and with a lovely outlook. The beds could do with an upgrade along with the tv bed was dipped and a double only. We did enjoy our stay and would recommend it with knowledge of the before mentioned

25th Wedding Anniversary Holiday
Great place beautiful gardens and well appointed apartment. Quiet edge of town location 2 km from shopping strip - nice 30 minutes walk along walking track.

If it had been the weather for it I would have taken advantage of the tennis court, pool and hot tub.

We went there for a family weekend away, stayed for the night only. Bit costly but worth the money. The property was clean. Facilities was new and in good condition. It was warm and cosy. The outdoor was clean and well maintained. We also enjoyed the spa. Would have preferred if there was some privacy around the spa area, to change clothes. The garden were beautiful. Would definitely go there again if we get a chance

Great Accomodation
Great spot, very homely accommodation, pre-arrival service great. Bright township is a great little spot, wish we stayed longer. Close access to the snow.

Amazing gardens but thats where it ends. Advertised with an enticing outdoor spa but arrived to find it hasn't been working for months. Advertised with free wifi internet but arrived to find that no wifi was available. Left quite disappointed.

Hi Andy. Thank you for your response but your information is incorrect. The outdoor spa is working and functional and has been for some time. Due to the inclement weather on the night you were in, it had not been serviced that day and you were advised of this. The loss of wifi was beyond our control. A cable in town had been severed. The town had no wifi for the whole weekend. Again you were advised of this. We appreciate your feedback, positive and negative, but we do ask that it is accurate. Regards Marielle

A nice apartment with a lot of space, you feel comfortable inside. It’s amazing having a breakfast outside the apartment on the sounds of the birds and the nice view

Great spot, terrible bed
Great location, well kept grounds, lovely unit - but terrible bed and bedding. Doona/duvet was way too hot (and this was the middle of winter), and mattress topper was so uncomfortable. Hardly slept on our snow weekend :(

Hi Anonymous. We do try to, but obviously can’t please everybody. If you had of come to us we could have offered you a lighter option and removed the mattress topper. It is after all winter and cold. We don’t like people to go cold either. Regards Marielle

Suitable accommodation
The accommodation was of an above average standard with very good communication from the staff. However, the bed was on the old side and sagged resulting in uncomfortable sleep. The laundry was below par with one washing machine and a dryer that has seen much better days. The property facilities were of a very good standard with equipment available for use on the tennis court, etc.

Hi Chris, I am sorry you had a bad sleep, but we literally replaced every Queen mattress in our accomodation only 9 months ago, with good quality mattresses. They are all medium firmness, but We just can’t obviously satisfy everybody’s requirements. Yes the laundries are on our list of things to do. Just getting priorities right for customer satisfaction. Autumn in Bright
Chestnut Tree was a pleasant place to stay. Apartment is on the older side but very clean and comfortable. Heating worked well which was important! Surrounding gardens are beautiful especially with the Autumn foliage. A little out of town, not far, but you’d need a car. Overall very comfortable for a few nights away.

We were delighted to arrive at Chestnut Tree apartments and find our apartment beautifully styled and well equipped with everything we could want. Everything was to a high standard; clean, luxurious, good quality and great amenities and surrounds. You can tell the owners put a lot of love into their business. Would definitely recommend.
