The room was dark as the amount of daylight enters through two small windows at ceiling height is very less. "The hotel was in a great location. The rooms need to be redone. Chipping paint and scuff marks on the wall. One window was cracked and covered in electrical tape. The breakfast was dreadful. The potatoes were cold, the pastries had no taste and the selection was poor. The regular coffee was served in carafes and were always empty. When I asked the staff to refill it, they looked at me like I asked them to do 100 sit-ups. The front desk people were courteous and were able to help me with my reservations."

"The Hotel Ljubljana was in a great location, just a 5-minutes before walk from the dragon bridge. There are only three parking spaces for this hotel and you must call front desk to reserve in advance. Cost is 30€ a day. It’s street parking close to the hotel. (You can use Easy Park to park cheaper a few blocks further away.) We stayed in the smallest room with no windows, and surprisingly, we loved it. It was the last available room on our days of stay, but when we return to Ljubljana, I would ask for this room again even if others were available. It was so cozy. The shower was great. The bed and bedding were our most comfortable of all the hotels we used in our trip. The staff gave us a welcome prosecco upon arrival and were so friendly throughout our stay. They have a great included breakfast in the restaurant. We also enjoyed a wonderful dinner there too. (FYI: There is a gelato place right outside the back door entry.) We really loved this hotel and will definitely return."

"The hotel is located as part of a building beside the main hospital. It has a few supermarkets right next door so useful from that point of view. As you enter there are signs telling you that construction is ongoing on site. In our bathroom there was a shower enclosure but no attachment for the shower head so you had to hold it. It’s a no frills room. The breakfast was good. Approximately 15 minutes walk to town centre."
