When we vacation, we road trip and never stay in one location very long. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are “new”-ish (as compared to the original house) cabins behind the main house. The property is located in a rural area of Normandy and we had a cow pasture right behind us. We enjoyed our evening in Merville at the beach. We had just come from Paris so the slower country side pace was very refreshing. Our trip was in July but we were able to stay comfortable in our room. Our son speaks fluent French but English is not as common in the county side as it is in Paris so take note of that.
