Wouldn’t book again.
While some staff were pleasant and ready to help, others were rude and unhelpful. Asked for assistance with a light that was permanently on in the room. Was told ‘it will be dark when you close your eyes’. On the last day I was locked out of my room, 2 hours before check- out as I hadn’t yet paid the city tax. I was told at check in, I could pay when I checked out. Room was basic. Water was luke warm in the shower. Pillow was a thinly spread collection of lumps. Asked for an alternative, it was in a similar condition. Slept using my hoodie as a pillow. As a gold member I was told I would receive 2 free drinks at the hotel. That was not the case.

Enjoyed my stay at the hotel during my vacation. All receptionists and staff very pleasant and helpful answering any questions regarding transportation and sights to visit. Hotel is very tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. I will revisit again in the near future.

I found this hotel absolutely wonderful; it has everything in excellent condition, it is quiet, very safe, very clean, the room is large and tastefully decorated and the staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. I will definitely return.

Not bad, not good.
Hotel is ok, very dated decor. Nearby train line means it is very noisy until very late. Staff are pleasant. Buffet breakfast (if supplemental to the room, is 9.80 euros per person per day which is expensive for the selection. Much cheaper and better options in town.

If needed a place to crash, it does the job.
I wouldn't stay if not driving. The hotel is not bad parking was easy, only complain was people entering the room before check out time.

The exterior of the hotel was undergoing renovation, so did not look good. However, the staff was welcoming and helpful, and the room was reasonably large, as well as clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again if we visit Bratislava.

Excellent hotel
The apartment we stayed in was very nice. The a/c unit was new and everything was clean and worked well in the room. Although not in Old Town there was a Slavic restaraunt in the hotel and across the street that was very good. It was perfect for our family having a separate bedroom and living room. The staff was also kind and spoke good English. Would stay again

Avoid.
Avoid this hotel. The cleanliness was very poor, and the reception smelt of cigarettes. What was the most frustrating part was that there is major construction work going on at Max Inn without any prior warning, which started drilling work at 730am, which meant a poor night sleep and no compassion for this. Horrible..

Pleasant Hotel
This hotel is a bit out of the main old town area. The room was large and reasonably comfortable. Breakfast was a bit expensive for what was supplied, nothing was replenished. One day of our stay our room was not serviced, even though we had the sign out. Not a big deal. The staff are wonderful and recommended a wonderful restaurant across the street.

Max inn hotel is a great little place on a quiet street close to a restaurant called veg life their is a Tesco and a couple of bars if you are willing to walk a bit but if you want peace and quiet it’s the place to go

Good room but needs soundproofing
The hotel in general is nice, staff is helpful but there are some challenges. Room was big and we'll furnished, bathroom was clean. The issue is noise, firstly they had some loud music going on till late night and somehow windows are not soundproof so we kept hearing vehicle or train noise throughout night. We also had breakfast but maybe be they were understaffed. Things were getting finished all the time with no refilling unless asked for.

Max in Bratislava
We stayed for two nights and were well pleased with the hotel. The room was a good size and very clean and although the hotel does not have a restaurant in the evening there is a good Slovakian restaurant opposite the hotel on Brianska and is called Pivovar Patronka with tasty food and good honest beer.The manager Daniell and staff were very friendly.

Very Helpful Receptionist!
We spent very little time at the hotel, most of it sightseeing etc. But the receptionist was extremely helpful in sorting out our arrangements for the city. She could not have done more for us and she made the trip very easy. Thank you!

It was OK for a 3 Star Hotel. The rooms are clean and tte staff attentive. Coffee should have been included in the morning but guests are charged for it.

Enorm vriendelijke, behulpzame en prettige medewerkers. Een plek waar je je op je gemak voelt. Oogt op sommige punten wel wat gedateerd. De driepersoonskamer waar we verbleven had een slecht bed en de (ruime) badkamer werd bij het douchen een waterballet. Kan voor andere kamers anders zijn. Al met al een zeer prettig verblijf.

wie nach Hause kommen
Als "Wiederholungstäter" war der Aufenthalt wie nach Hause kommen. Trotz der Coronaeinschränkungen war alles wie immer ordentlich und sauber, es gab das gewohnte abwechslungsreiche und leckere Frühstück vom Buffet, am Wochenende (wegen weniger Gäste) wurden Eierspeisen auf Wunsch frisch zubereitet. Besonders angenehm sind die gute Schallisolierung und individuelle Klimatisierung der wirklich umfassen ausgestatteten Zimmer. Praktisch ist, dass man mit dem Bus (Haltestelle ca. 200m vom Hotel) im 5-10 Minutentakt in 4-5 Haltestellen in der Innenstadt ist; Tickets erhält man an der Rezeption.
