"A very warm welcome and a lovely room. Bed was comfy and the hotel was quiet for a good night's sleep. A short walk to the beach and pier, and also not too far to the town centre. My only negative was the bathroom is tiny. I would definitely consider staying here again."

"Staff were very friendly and breakfast very good. I would say it was three star though rather than four as advertised. We were on the top floor and the lift didn't work for the duration of our stay. The torrential rain meant there was rain water coming through the vent on the ceiling in the bathroom on to the W.C. and floor."

"We had a wonderful weekend in Bournemouth at the Royal Exeter. We were especially happy with the hospitality of the staff in the 1812 bar. The happy hour is generous and good value. Breakfast was great too. Would recommend There was of course sound from the bar/nightclub but wasn’t too bad. We were on the 2nd floor"

However we found our bedroom overlooking the garden a little sparce could do with additional decorative objects to give it more appeal.."
