The explanation was that it is cold outside at night and some people want to use the heaters so they cannot do both. However, inside the room was extremely warm. However the croissants were huge and amazing. The woman who checked me in was kind and accommodating. But the male staff at breakfast was standoffish and not warm or welcoming. The grounds could use some more landscaping befitting of a chateau."
