"Sorry to say, this was probably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Look at the pictures (which look great) and imagine what it will look like 15 years or so later unmaintained and little cleaned,. Imagine any hotel, nightmares you can think of, and you’ll find them in this hotel. Dirt, dust and cobwebs, everywhere, walls and light switches with grubby dirty marks, dirty ring stains in the bathroom, the bathroom sink tap that barely worked (varying between a dribble and barely...

"The hallway was dark. Our toilet got blocked and they asked us to change room. When we returned they was no room available and they offer us a room to take shower and have to wait for the boss to return before a room is available because there was no key to the room that was available. He also told us that we need to change room again the next day. We asked for a refund since at that point there was no room available for us and the staff said he can’t refund. WEIL Hotel

WEIL Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Alan at the front counter was so nice and friendly as well as all other staff even the bell man and the staff helping us open the connecting door. The hotel i heard is dated but amazingly feels new and clean. Super spacious, infinity pool was huge and no one was swimming there the 4 times we swam! Free breakfast and siu yeh was excellent. The fact that they have a Ipoh coffee machine is just making me want to take another 15 hour flight and 2 hour car ride just to go to the hotel and stay honestly. 2 minutes walk to family mart when we were jet lagged at 2am. Direct access to the huge mall with everything you need. 5 minutes walk to local 188 food center and a ton to see nearby. I don't know another reason to stay elsewhere in Ipoh honestly."
