Perfect lil place. Great location easy to get around.
Clean, quite exactly what I was looking for.
The only thing was the shower head and water pressure. Other than that I loved it!
The place was perfect. Cozy, quiet and clean. The staff is unbelievably helpful and responsive. Every time I had a question, someone responded immediately!

People with mobility issues should be told that it's not accessible. Stairs are too steep and the ground from the basement to the street is uneven. No love local TV or streaming channels. I liked the refrigerator and freezer in the common area.. Check-in was simple.

The location is great, close to the train and everything is within walking distance. We stayed on the top floor the view was great. Beautiful and quiet residential neighborhood. I felt safe throughout the day and night. The bed and pillows are very comfortable!
As for the room itself, I didn't feel comfortable. The seats at the dining table and chair next to the bed were bad on my back. The toilet was hard to flush and the kitchen was right in the foyer, which is where we put our shoes (we take our shoes off and we don't mix shoes off and on areas). The paint and fixtures make it feel like a builder-grade home. Unworthy of its exterior architecture.
We stayed 4 nights but I wouldn't spend more than two nights simply because of the small inconveniences which add up.
We stayed at this location because it was close to Symphony Hall. The building is on a pretty and quiet residential block.
This is not a hotel; it is more like a guesthouse. There is no reception. You just receive a code to enter the building and your room. You have to pay extra for everything: maid service, luggage storage, early check-in, late check-out, and a $7 fee just to check-in.
There is a well stocked kitchen, and free use of the washer and dryer in the basement. There is no breakfast whatsoever.
The room is very tiny, and only had a closet with shelves to put your clothes away. There was a small sink, a Keurig, and fridge. The host provided $1 bottles of water and cans of soda in the fridge, but charge you $4 if you drink them.
The bathroom was so small that the shower door and the bathroom door kept hitting each other.
Other issues that we had were that the hallway light sensors didn't work well, so everytime we came back to the room, we were in darkness. The room door also kept popping open on its own, even when we had confirmed that it was closed and locked. It was very concerning, especially knowing that there was another guestroom right next to ours.
The hosts were also not helpful. I told them that I would ask Expedia for compensation for the incorrect mention of breakfast being provided. When Expeda called them, they lied and said that they provide fresh fruit, milk and bread, all in an effort to not appear deceitful. But Expedia compensated me anyway.

Overall I enjoyed my stay at Good Hotels Boston. However, I did have issues with check in and unexpected charges. They also had not changed the sheets since the last person stayed, and the a/c unit was insufficient for a spring boston night.
Terrible room. Noisy and no hot water. Parking they referred us to locked up and we had to call and wait for security so we could go home. One of the worst hotels in over 35 years of travel
I understand the hotels in boston aren’t cheap. But this was the tiniest, dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed in. It was dusty, towels had stains, walls were so thin… I wouldn’t recommend at all
Great location. I only wish it had more of an arrival experience- no desk, no desk, no lobby personnel - a personal connection help make an experience.
Great location cute room. Clean and comfortable. Just keep in mind that it is a walk up - I was on the sixth floor which I didn’t mind - but it is something to consider if stairs are difficult for you.
