Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities
Positives: Checking in and out was easy and took no time at all. For having five people in one room, the room was quite spacious for sleeping arrangements. Bartender was very polite & attentive to his guests that came up to the bar.
Cons: Ice maker in the freezer did not work, so we had to go down to the lobby just for ice. Luggage carts barely turn, making it difficult to maneuver into the elevators, around corners or into the room.
Combined into the cost of the hotel room, you get a “Food & Beverage Credit” for each night that you are staying but you cannot choose to use it all at once, even though on a vacation you’re out and about focused on sightseeing, and not spending time at the hotel all that much.
On the hotel website, parking is stated as “Off-Site” parking, which we took as just a parking garage that we would just have to walk to & from when leaving or returning to the hotel. You can choose to either park on the street (you have to pay a meter for most of the day/evening, & there was never any spots), or you can park in the garage, for $50 a night. Now, for paying nearly $1,000 for only a 2-night stay, parking should be included. This hidden fee, which was never mentioned on their website was quite upsetting, especially when it was then the first thing that we had to worry about, instead of getting into our room & relaxing after a 6-hour car drive.
