"The shower drain was not adequate and bath room as well as into bedroom pooled with water. Had to use shower with very low flow. No coffee machine in the room, one machine in breakfast room which staff only operated starting at 8;00am. Definitely a minus as wanted coffee earlier, and like to still be in pajamas in room. Pillows were flat and not supportive of neck or head. One mile of very bumpy road leading to property. Lots of flies around due to chickens and sheep on property. Room would be quite warm in summer"

"We absolutely loved our stay here. It’s somehow even more beautiful in person than it looks in the photos, which is saying a lot because the photos are already gorgeous. Everyone was so warm and friendly, especially Francesca and Maila! Breakfast was amazing — everything was fresh and delicious — and the property itself was absolutely stunning and lots of common spaces to relax at. The location was also perfect for exploring the area, with both Pienza and Montepulciano about 20–25 minutes away. Even the little details were lovely, including the toiletries, which smelled incredible. We honestly couldn’t have picked a better place for our four nights in Tuscany. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"We stayed at the olive Farmhouse across the street from the main property. Rooms were cozy and clean with some interesting toiletries to use (made from olive oil). The property also has a range of activities (extra) to choose from. Just a note that eventhough the farmhouse is close to the main property, you have to walk uphill to get to the property for breakfast or the pool. Also it is close to Pienza but on the north side (personally I think the south side is more picturesque). But overall, a good stay and property! Staff was very professional, friendly and always courteous"

"We loved our stay, hope to be back, and would recommend to anyone visiting Tuscany! The view from almost anywhere on the property is absolutely stunning and we felt immediately relaxed after a week of Italian city life- the location feels remote but is close to many attractions, little medieval towns, and amazing wineries. We witnessed the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises up on the hill by the pool. The borgo itself is idyllic, rustic, and charming with lots of character. The pool is wonderful (although a bit chilly in mid Sept :) ) with lots of seating and again a beautiful view. The kitchen was well stocked and all of the extras (like coffee, water, juice, bread, jams, teas, sugar, olive oil, vinegars, salt, pepper, and wine) were so helpful and appreciated, limiting what we needed to buy at the local Coop. Multiple rooms had fresh flowers (such a lovely touch), there was lots of clothing storage, and nice bath towels. We saw a few red foxes, a large bunny, countless birds (heard 15 different species according to my Merlin app), and many of the property cats who hung out with us while we enjoyed our wine in the multiple communal seating areas. We are so happy we selected this property after looking at so many others in the area - it was a wonderful, relaxing stay!"

"My wife and I spent 3 nights at this beautiful Agriturismo. We loved the spacious, clean, well appointed room with a stunning view of the valley and sunsets. The staff was very helpful, we were able to do laundry and a cooking class, which was so much fun! Shout out to Laura and Doriana, the chefs and Marta for helping translate. One day we spent exploring the entire property and taking advantage of the pools. The other days we took day trips to other small Tuscan cities - their location makes this possible. Lastly we enjoyed a wonderful dinner in their restaurant with farm fresh produce and wine they produce themselves. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this place."

"A Tuscan Gem in the Heart of Val d’Orcia Agriturismo Sole was everything we hoped a stay in Tuscany would be—and more. From the moment we arrived, it felt warm, authentic, and incredibly peaceful. Surrounded by olive trees and the beautiful countryside of Val d’Orcia, it gives you that true Tuscan family-farm atmosphere while still being comfortable and beautifully designed. Our apartment was spacious, thoughtfully designed, and full of character. It had the charm you expect from the Tuscan countryside but with all the comfort and attention to detail you want while traveling with a family. One of our favorite parts was the infinity pool. After exploring Tuscany during the day, coming back to cool down in the pool, enjoy a glass of wine, and watch the incredible sunsets over the countryside was simply perfect. Some days, we honestly didn’t feel the need to leave at all. For our kids, the farm made the experience even more memorable. Seeing the chickens, picking fresh eggs, watching the pig wander around, and waking up to the sound of birds every morning gave them a completely different experience from a typical hotel stay. Those simple moments ended up being some of our favorite memories from the trip. They also offer experiences such as bikes, Vespas, cooking classes, and wine tastings, so you can easily make Agriturismo Sole part of the Tuscany experience itself rather than simply a place to sleep. If you are looking to slow down, this is your place!"
