"The location and view of this property was excellent. The staff gave good dining recommendations. The fire pit at night with s’mores was nice. We were given a nice bouquet of flowers at time of check in. The morning breakfast was a bit different. The kitchen was stocked with eggs, cream cheese, yogurt and condiments and pastries. You were responsible to make your own breakfast in the kitchen. "
"Highly recommend for families or couples looking to be close to Boothday Harbor activity but feel like you are your own little island. Recommend the boat rides available on site with picnic option!

"Quick one night trip. We arrived around 6pm and all stopped and restaurants closed at 7 or 8. One was open until 9. Beautiful view over the water from the room. Easy checkin and parking. Older room. Flattest pillow I've ever slept on. The bed was comfy. The air unit blows directly on the bed. Small room but it worked for just 2 of us. "
"Easy check in. Staff were very attentive. Room had been recently updated and was nice and cozy. Exceptionally clean. Free breakfast was excellent. Only downside was the bedding. Sheets were not the softest and there was a single thin bedspread. My husband was fine but I run cold. I’m sure I could have gotten more blankets from the front desk - as mentioned staff was very attentive - but opted to use a sleeping bag I had in my car. "
"Greta and Linnea at the front desk were amazing! So friendly and helpful! The room was very clean and a beautiful view of the harbor. Everythingwas within walking distance so we did not have to drive anywhere. I wish they would offer a breakfast. Would definitely stay here again."
"
We stayed three nights on our 8 days in Maine and they were by far the best three nights and mornings of our vacation. The rooms are immaculate, with comfortable beds (so great I bought the sheets), beautiful views, and everything you could need. You arrive to a welcome drink that was simply delicious, and a full bar that is paired with appetizers at 4:30 pm each day. Breakfasts are from the Topside Inn Cookbook, which I obviously now needed, bc each day exceeded our expectations. There are fresh cookies every day available to guests plus a fully stocked seltzer, juice, water, soda fridge, coffee and tea all day. Both Rebecca and Mary were magnificent and such a pleasure. We loved this place so much we are sending our parents to experience this 5 star inn. Could not have loved a place more."
"My wife and I had a wonderful stay here last week. The place is well kept up, with beautiful views of BB Harbor. The breakfasts were phenomenal. It seems like you will always get some version of quiche, another version of an egg casserole, home fries, mixed fruit, homemade pastries and bread, and of course coffee. The owners and staff are all quite helpful with recommendations for area restaurants and attractions. The location is perfect - basically in town, but quiet."
"Great spot in Boothbay Harbor Maine. Walkable area to restaurants, boat excursions, shops and waterfront. Easy parking on premises. Check in time on our Expedia booked reservation states 2:00pm-4:00pm check in. We received a text message from the Inn manager letting us know check in was at 4:00pm and to send him a text when we were close to arrival. Other than the time difference check in was seamless and informative. Property manager was friendly and accommodating and walked us around the common areas of both buildings Admirals Quarters where the main office is and the greenleaf building where we stayed. They both have a shared kitchen area and living room dining room areas.
Our room was advertised as a private penthouse king with direct access to the sky deck. The room was on the small side but worked for our short stay and had fold out luggage storage which was convenient for our belongings. We had a small refrigerator as well. Bed was on the soft side which didn’t work well for me but was fine for my husband. Lots of light comes in early morning but we are early risers so no issue for us. The view out of the windows from the bed was beautiful. All upgrades were well done. Neighbors sliding door was right next to ours which accesses the shared deck. You could hear your neighbor as well when inside.
The property is set up with a sense of community most areas are shared including decks, chairs, grounds both inside and out. Typical of most Inn’s. "
