Really enjoyed the Bear Cabin. Peaceful and quiet. It was well stocked, clean and comfortable. Even the fold out sofa bed was very comfortable! Highly recommend this place. Owner was super friendly too.

Fantastic!

Fantastic trip! Stayed 2 nights and wished we could stay longer! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The property was wooded and so quiet. We didn't expect to wake up to snow and feel like temp of 7 degrees, but the cabin was warm, cozy, and dry. Will definitely recommend to others and will be back! Thanks for the memories Bear Cabin!

What a neat little find! My son and I wanted to see snow and go tubing near the mountains. They have two really cool cabins so there’s a lot of privacy and a beautiful location in the forest. Highly recommend.

I had The Nut Cabin all to myself-very comfortable with all the needed essentials. The hike up to the cabin from the parking lot was a challenge but the owners have a well maintained and fully lite gravel pathway that gave my legs a workout every day💗 I highly recommend this fabulous cabin -it was a wonderful weekend! I look forward to staying there again!

My husband and I stayed at the farm for our wedding anniversary. It was such an enjoyable experience. We stayed at the NutHouse up on the hill. It was a bit of a walk but worth it for a scenic view and a quiet getaway. This is the perfect place for a weekend getaway. 10/10 recommend.

Very quiet and somewhat secluded. Only down side I’d say is the drive way to get up to the cabin is VERY steep. It was a struggle to get up there with our Toyota Corolla

Great place to stay. Very clean and quiet. Cabin is small and perfect for two people. We stayed in the Nut House. The bathroom is very clean but very small. If you are much over 6 foot or 200lbs the shower is going to be a tight fit. Not an issue but something to consider. Overall it was a great cabin to stay in.

When we arrived we were greeted by a very kind fellow on the front porch of the main house, (sorry I did not get his name) The cabin we stayed in was the Nuthouse, it was cozy , charming, inviting and clean. The owners keep it very well maintained. If you have the chance I can not recommend this location enough. its a bout a 30-35 min drive to Blowing Rock.
