Bondalem Trip

The villa was beautiful! For some reason I thought their would be a bathroom inside— I didn’t know the only bathroom would be outside.. it’s hard to take a dump late at night when you have to watch for mosquitos. Also the front desk is located outside so at night nobody will be out there. I had to keep yelling “hello??” to get somebodies attention because I didn’t download whatsapp yet and had no clue I had to text them when I’m arriving.

I had a fabulous stay at Merusaka. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely lovely throughout. My room was beautiful, and housekeeping did an excellent job keeping everything spotless each day. I really appreciated the option of an à la carte breakfast — the food was freshly prepared and the setting felt calm and relaxed. In contrast, the main buffet restaurant was quite crowded, and the variety and quality didn’t quite meet expectations. There were also a noticeable number of flies around the food. That aside, the grounds are stunning and the resort offers a great range of facilities, making it an overall enjoyable stay.

Buffet breakfast was fabulous and the location was wonderful. Was a bit odd we only had one side table beside the bed (which was super comfy)

The room was clean and spacious. The staff were outstanding.

We had a studio room which was fantastic. Clean, tidy and a comfortable bed. The staff were very attentive and lovely. The only downside I would say, which did not affect my stay, was the pool is only waist deep.
