"The property as a whole is excellent....the valley view rooms are amazing. The rooms and bathrooms are great, bathrooms clean and have been renovated well. The checkin experience was sub-par - the specific manager who did our checkin was rude and un-empathetic. The restaurant is good - while they have quite a bit of options, not everything is available. The local food options are good but some of the other options such as indo-chinese cuisiine is not that that great. The house keeping staff and restaurant staff are friendly and helpful. Overall was a good stay and experience for us, barring the checkin experience."

"The service team in the hotel is one of the best - always courteous, professional and caring. If you’re going to Yercaud look no further. The entire team - restaurant managers, breakfast team, front desk and house keeping team made our stay very comfortable. Prabakaran in front desk and Sathyan in the Orange restaurant took special care for us. This is my second time here and the hotel only keeps improving."

"We had a family stay at the resort, kids lived the play area, rooms are very big and spacious, location is awesome and the reception is very helpful. They ordered dinner for us from somewhere else, when we were late just on a phone request There is no restaurant at the property"

"Shambala is a quiet plantation stay a few kilometers away from Yercaud Lake and the other busy tourist areas. The manager, Mr. Ravi, front desk manager, Jayaram, Chef Sundar and the restaurant and maintenance staff all personally attend to you and offer really great service. The place is clean and well maintained, and there is wifi even inside the rooms."
