Great location. Overall very good experience.

Rooms (all with nice en suites) are charming and are part of a large converted apartment in a residential apartment area. It's not a hotel so don't expect that but also better than b&b. Bed not great. But otherwise very good. Great location 10 mins walk from city centre. Lots of great food options nearby. Included breakfast in nearby cafe great. Also allows free left luggage which we found useful.

The property is clean and staff that checked us in very helpful. Bed is typical not cushiony but clean linens and bathroom is spacious with heated towel rack. Walkable to city center and dining. The only thing will be had a hard time to find the lights at the hallway of the building and it was dark.

Lovely old but stylishly decorated apartment, with comfy bed and pillows. Good bathroom and fridge with drinks available. Luca was our host who came to meet us and explain everything very well and gave us a tip to visit San Luca Church which we did and it was amazing. If you travel by car, contact Chez Moi directly and they will give you tips where to park beforehand. It’s not possible to park close to the apartment.

The location was good. Everything was really walkable. 30min walk away from the train station, it almost put me off, but Bologna is a really good city to walk with suitcases (we got a huge suitcase and a small one). The B&B was in a quiet location. The host that received us was super helpful, giving us all his favourites food spots. There is not in-front desk so if you are not there at 3pm for the check in. Make sure to let them know your ETA in time. The room was spacious and clean with unique features like the brick ceiling and bar chairs. There were lots of goodies inside the room like Nespresso machine, a good sort of teas and biscuits. Extra pillows and blankets. We would definitely book it again if we come back to Bologna.

Perfect stay

The stay is perfect. The room is squeakily clean. The reception is very nice. My plane was delayed but they still extend the reception for me. In the room there’s air conditioning and tea making facilities. I will definitely recommend to others

The property is located in the old town, which is convenient. But since it is the limited traffic zone, you need to arrange your arrival with the owner in advance in order to avoid getting fines later. Francesco is very helpful. Even though the building is very old, rooms are well remodeled with all necessary amenities. However, there is no elevator, so you have to lift your luggage by stairs. Breakfast is ok in a small street cafe.

Transited to the location and was ultimately unable to check in. The property listed complex instructions on arranging a checkin time with the property 48 hours prior which was impossible to complete while traveling. We went to B&B at 3p to check in but the person answering the buzzer spoke no English so we were unable to communicate the situation to them. We then tried contacting the property through Expedia app, but received no response. We ultimately unable to even be buzzed into the front door to enter the business. Would recommend if choosing to stay with this property that you're able to follow the obtuse instructions, or speak Italian, or risk being left on the streets without a place to stay. Such a disappointment.Perhaps they are more appropriate for local Italian visitors versus international guests? We didn't have this issue with any of the other B&Bs or hotels we stayed at on this trip. We ended up booking another hotel for the evening and will likely be charged for the stay at this property which we could not find a way to check in. I ended up paying hundreds of extra euros to not even be let in the door. Very sad :(

Do not stay in the courtyard facing room. You run the rush if smelling raw sewage if you open the window. We booked this room with high expectations based on reviews, but our experience was unfortunately horrendous. We were greeted by a very courteous Luca. We quickly alerted Luca who agreed that there was indeed a smell, who immediately contacted the owner. The owner advised him to throw buckets of hot water out of the window in the hope that the smell down below would disperse a blockage. It didn’t change anything. As the room was really warm we could not use the window. We asked if we could use the standalone air conditioning unit, but was told it was de commissioned awaiting a compliance certificate from the local authorities. We asked if we could change room but was told that they were all fully booked for the next few days. We were told that they would try and sort something out the following day and keep me posted. That night could only be described as hot as hell. I tried calling Luca that morning but he was busy and just messaged back saying was everything ok!? I tried calling the owner who also did not answer the phone. In despair we booked another hotel. We told the cleaner that we were moving out who called the owner in our presence. We were offered another room but this was too late. Advised if they could rent the room we would get some money back even though we should have been refunded anyway They even kept three days local tax paid in cash. Be warned.

Die Kommunikation war ein bisschen Holprig am Anfang. Bologna sollte man nicht mit dem Auto anreisen. Von der Unterkunft ist alles fussläufig erreichbar.

Die Begrüßung am Anreisetag hat super geklappt und wir wurden mit diversen nützlichen Tipp für Bologna ausstattet. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr praktisch im Zentrum und zentral, dass wir alle Sehenswürdigkeiten bzw. Cafés und Restaurants fussläufig erreichen konnten. Zudem hat uns auch noch der Taxi-Bestellservice sehr bei der Abreise geholfen. Vielen Dank
