The rooms are unbelievably huge and the views are incredible. Distance to sites is walkable. This was a fantastic and extremely affordable stay.

The room was amazing!!! Very spacious, can not beat the price. My room was $65 a night. This included kitchen, dinning area, Living room, bedroom and two full baths, really an unbeatable deal. The rooms are a bit outdated but still the amazing. My issue wasn't with the room itself but rather the staff. The staff isn't very welcoming, I have stayed at the other tequendama facility and booked this location by accident. The room and location are amazing but the staff and their treatment of guests could improve. Also no shuttle service to the airport!!!

This place is sinking like a rock in the minds of travelors. The problem is the hotel suffers from the Rolo attitude that it isn't necessary to actually do what you say you will do as long as you say you will do it, after the false promise has been made their view is that they have "done their best" and any resultant displeasure is entirely the fault of the other side. Things as simple as insufficient towels, no tools in the kitchenette suites, no hangars,period, partial replenishment of consumables, and effective refusal to replace batteries on remote controls are all "part of the package". My guess is the manager is in way over his or her head/ suffers from the same bloody-minded Rolo mentality. The complete opposite attitude is found at the Tequendama Hotel where they have chosen to operate it as a real hotel with customer service as an aim.. Based on what people I spoke to at Tequndama Hotel said they would return. I can not same the same for Tequendama Suites, - it is just plain irritating to stay there!

It was ok! The staff does not know a word of English- along with that - they needed yo be told- without the guests - they will not have a job. Very disconcerting to whatever we asked for. They could care less. Front seat as well as kitchen. Food is ok. If you want something that has to be made. An omelette, don't be surprised to get something else . Room service was terrible also. I had to leave a not for them to restock the soap and give us fresh towels. I would never stay her again or refer anyone to. Restaurant has no signs as to what the name of the dish is. The bed was ok. It's just a blah hotel wit a small lobby. Restaurant.- we saw other guests taking up breakfast. When we did, Ruth told us we cannot do that. The other waitress was all unprofessional to us.the 2nd morning we left a tip on the table- one man took it! He was not the waitress. Please the Manager at this Hotel should be aware of these things. We asked to speak with him- the front desk always had an excuse.

3 rooms! When booking I requested connecting room as I'm travelling with my 14 year old daughter and my mom. We got rooms all on different floors. Not one person here speaks english. The beds are not comfortable. Dinner the first night was terrible. Breakfast, you order an omelette-I seriously don't know what that was. The fruits were good. Most of the staff was not friendly and kept on looking at us. House cleaning was terrible also. They don't check if soap was needed. No wash cloth . Everything was limited. They do not clean the bathroom floors and no vacuuming was done. We stayed 6 nights. Reception was horrible. The Lady that checked us in was just unconcerned. Although, they said the hotel was fully booked- not once did we see a lot of ppl on the floors that we were given. They seriously need to train this hotel staff . My elderly mom wanted a slice of bread to take up to the room so she can take her vitamins- they stopped her. Although we saw ppl taking food upstairs. We were allowed 1 free beverages per room. We got none!

We had a suite of adjoining rooms for a very good price. That means we had a great amount of space including 4 queen sized beds, 3 bathrooms and 2 kitchens. That is all the positive. The rooms need to be updated. The decor is old and tired. There was no hot water this morning to shower. The restaurant was good but the second day the buffet was out of anything I would want to eat. Also, my husband made an appointment for a massage and when he got there they said they had to cancel because the people ahead of him were late and they weren't done with their massage. That's extremely poor customer service. In all, I was not impressed. I also want to point out that this hotel does not have AC which might be common in Bogota but it was really warm in our room. Also, the listing on Expedia said there was a concierge but there isn't one and we needed someone to help find tours. Another very strange thing was we got room service for our son who was tired and didn't want to go to the restaurant, and when they delivered the food they wanted to be paid instead of charging it to the room and my son's credit card didn't work and he had to call us to talk to the staff. I've never been to a hotel that you couldn't charge room service to the room. Also same rule in the restaurant. Couldn't put that on the room. It seems more of a hotel for business travel than family vacation.
