I arrived at the hotel and checked in. Check in was fast. I went to room and the room smelled like moisture. I checked the room and found water running down the wall and mold. I went to the lobby to complain and the receptionist told she would call the manager. The manager said they are not giving me my money back. I left the hotel

I liked that the hotel is on walking distance of the centrum of Bogota. What I didn't like is the neighboorhood.Lots of homeless people walking near the hotel. My sheets weren't changed for the whole week. I saw a stain on the first the and it remained like that for a whole week. They did clean the room everyday and made the bed. The shower hose was broken and it wasn't fixed, I even mentioned this to the hotel staff. Breakfast is poor. No variation, everyday the same and with little choice.

The Jail Hotel
They should call this the Jail Hotel, because the front door stays locked. You have to ask permission and give your room number if you want to leave. You have to wait on the worker to walk around and let you out. If you want back in, hopefully the worker isn't busy doing something or you'll just be standing there waiting. You have to wait until they walk around the desk to come let you in regardless. Other than that, the windows are very thin. Cold room. Lots of street noise. Not sleep-walker friendly either; you could easily fall out of the window to your death. No sort of safety features. The toilet seat is a woman's dream. It won't stay up. It's purposely designed that way. You have to hold it up with your hand. The water pressure is very inconsistent and never very good. What use is a fancy massage head without the pressure to make it effective? They told me the reason that refrigerators in the room were advertised, but there were none is due to Covid. I'm all about Covid precautions, but that doesn't make any sense. There is no heat, and not even a fan! Mind-boggling at the price they want. I'd still never return if this place were a quarter of the price. The carpet is very old. The bed is either very old, or just of poor quality. Worst hotel bed I've ever slept in. Deep valley forms. I didn't get much sleep b/c of the bed, cold, & street noise. All this, & I paid extra for a "superior" room. There's more wrong with this place, but out of characters.

Hotel stay was good. The staff could not speak much english, only one staff member. The breakfast was a bit disappointing everyday the same and bread not so fresh. The area was walking distance from the main areas and supermarkets.

Excellent staff.
We enjoyed the Expo Suites for a weekend in Bogota. The accommodations are as expected in the price range. The staff is what made our stay excellent. Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and clearly took pride in delivering a comfortable stay.

No heating in the room while outside were 9-10 degrees .Friendly staff but beside Oscar , the receptionist ,nobody is speaking or understanding English !Breakfast is simply but good .

Almost everything is very good. A heater in the room would improve the comfort a lot. It is quite cold in the night! The breakfast could be improved with fresh (!) bread and better jam, cheese and ham.

Great for a 1 night Stay
Conveniently located near parque 93 with upscale bars and restaurants including starbucks. Easy to find Breton Hill clearly marked on the building outside. Tiny rooms. Big bed and very comfortable. Tiny bathrooms. Noisy room because the breakfast ladies were making a noise a 5.30 in the morning and their area was right next to iur room. The balcony outside our window is theirs and hey chat to each other and on their cell phones at 6 am which will wake tou up if tou get our room. Tip. Ask for a room away from the kitchen. Other than that i would say this hotel which is the 2nd floor of an apartment building is very nice and modern and for the prive i wouls definitely recommend for 1 night.

A comfortable stay after a very long flight
I had a great recuperative stay in this hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful. I'm particularly grateful to the staff in attendant who allowed me an early check-in after a 30 hour flight.

Very modern style, comfortable
I usually don't care about minibars in rooms, but it is critical to have some snacks around if you get in to a hotel late at night and really don't want to (or can' because too late) go out looking for food. My room had nothing in it (an unplugged empty fridge), so not much help on that. But the room was spacious, modern, bed was good, location in general seemed good, reasonable rate. I don't really know the city but the next day it seemed that this was convenient for transportation purposes, had some restaurants etc nearby. It was not crowded when I was there so don't know if it would be quiet or not when full, but I was comfortable on this one-night stay.

Thanks for the feedback John. The minibars are not always filled, but you can always ask reception for something so you dont need to leave your room.

It was disappointing the wifi did not work during our stay. Other than that is is a safe zone close to the bus lines and historic center.

No Wifi, terrible shower, but great employees
No Wifi on four of the ten days there, was very frustrating. The shower is also terrible, goes from scalding hot to freezing cold every 20 seconds, for the entire trip. The free breakfast was great, the room was very clean, and the employees were very sweet and kind. Great neighborhood. If they fix the Wifi and the shower, then I would love to stay again. Otherwise, you can easily find somewhere else much cheaper (with better amenities) in the same section of town.

Good price and nice rooms!
It's very well located and has big rooms with comfortable beds, it has a nice design and people working there very friendly. Breakfast could have more variety but overall I really enjoyed my stay.
