One night wasn't enough

Loved the house, neighborhood, pets and most of all Beatriz! I was sorry to have only one night there. Beatriz was fun to talk with and she was super helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the room very comfortable with lots of extras.

This was a first introduction to Colombia during our three-week trip and it did not disappoint. It is such an amazing, historic building. Beatriz is an an exceptional host and goes out of her way to make you feel at home and ensure that all your needs are met. She even led us to a restaurant during our first day, where they served a special traditional stew that we wanted to try. Her recommendations were spot on. Beatriz allowed us to check in early after a red eye flight that had also been delayed. I would highly recommend a stay at this place. It's a gem!

We loved our stay at Bogota bed and breakfast. The property is super clean, comfortable , easy to assess and the breakfast was delicious. Ms.Beatriz went over and above to ensure that our stay was memorable. She also went out of her way to help us by proving for with pajamas, jackets for the cold weather in Bogota and toiletries becauee our luggage were delayed by the airline for almost 2 days. She even sacrificed to stay at the bed and breakfast the whole day on Wednesday waiting for our delayed luggage to be dropped by the airline. Additionally, when we missed our flight to cartenega she let us stay for another extra night for almost free price. I would highly recommend Bogota bed and breakfast for they provide professional but also very personalized services. Ms. Beatriz incase you read this message, Thank you again for going over and above to make our Bogota trip memorable !!!

A warm beautiful bed and breakfast. Charming, fully renovated with excellent amenities. Rooms are large, showers are modern with excellent water stream. Our host, Beatriz could not have been more welcoming and helpful . The inn is conveniently located in a quiet residential neighborhood close to the center.

Home sweet home in Bogota 田舎の親戚のジィジとバァバがおもてなし。

BB コメント The location wad in a quiet area and close to museums in down town. The owner prepared my favorite breakfast with Arepa, lots of fruit and veggies. In a spacious clean room, they had a large Cable TV. Cold/hot water was always available in the lobby. Beatriz did laundry with a reasonable price. The owner took very good care and I felt like I was homing home for Xmas. They allowed me to check in at 7:30 am after a night flight. The hot shower was very good and it was the best shower in my one months trip.This BB is a family guest house. Beatriz kindly printed my e-ticket. If you are looking for a safe and relaxing accommodation, I will definitely recommend this BB. 日本の民宿。親戚の家に泊まっているような歓迎を受ける。お部屋は広く綺麗で、ベッドは硬くもなく柔らかすぎず快適だった。シャワーは最高。お湯は一回15分たっぷり出る。排水も完璧。暖房がないのは南米の常識だが、寒ければ毛布をリクエスト出来る。6月末の滞在だったが、毛布二枚で暖かく眠れた。 ラウンジには、バナナ、マンゴ、メロンの果物が置かれていて食べ放題。また、冷たい水とお湯の機械が設置されていで便利だ。 朝食は好みを聞いて作ってくれる。野菜たっぷりに果物。コーヒーにジュース。メーンのArepaアレパはコロンビアの伝統の食べ物。私の場合、夜行のフライトで早朝のチェックインにもかかわらず、お部屋に案内してくれて、しかも一番良い部屋にアップグレードしてくれた。家族が建物内に住んでいるから、安心安全を第一にするなら、民宿スタイルのBBも良いと思う。隣にチキン専門レストランと、有名なバッファロー肉のテイクアウトの店ニ軒がある。買い物は、徒歩3分でミニスーパーや飲食店がある。 中心街までは徒歩20分。バス停までは徒歩5分だが、市内の移動は青い色のバスが2000ペソ70円、タクシーなら5000ペソ180円。ボゴタのタクシーは安いから、タクシーをお勧めしたい。 空港からは25,000コロンビアペソ(850円)で宿まで来る。必ずタクシー乗り場で黄色いタクシーに乗るように。客引のタクシーには乗らないこと。 [付録]南米を1ヶ月旅していると、あまりの食べ物の不味さに拒食症に陥る。彼らは暖房なしだから、北極のイヌイットのように寒さ対策に脂っこい物を食べるのだが、日本人の口には合わない。かといって、バナナばかり食べているわけにもいかない。ケチケチ旅行のバッパッカーで長期の旅行の場合は、時々は栄養補給に、キッチンのある宿が望ましい。

Rick and Beatriz went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was incredible in the morning and they were happy to answer any questions we had about Bogota. They even called a taxi for us at 2:30am for an early flight. The bed and breakfast is charming and beautiful and in a lovely neighborhood while still bein walkable to the main attractions.

Immaculate bed and breakfast with 5 star appearance. Was a great place to begin our stay in Bogota with very helpful and friendly staff that were pleased to answer any questions and provide recommendations for places to visit and restaurants in the city. A true gem in Bogota!

This place is so special that it's hard to find the right words to do it justice. This is the 2nd and not the last time I've stayed here. It is truly wonderful: beautiful, original décorations in each room, confortable beds, small but super-modern and ultra-clean bathroom, delicious home-made breakfast, free coffee & tea anytime, unbeatable quality-for-price, situated in a lovely historical neighborhood with easy access to anywhere in Bogota...but what makes the Bogota B&B Inn so exceptional is the owner, Beatrice. She goes above and beyond to make you feel at home, gives great tourist tips and advice, and is always there if you need anything (without being intrusive). This B&B has beauty, confort, service and a heart. I travel all over the world for work and this is one of my favorite places: I highly recommend it!

Beatriz and Rick are lovely and very helplful. The hotel is in a nice safe area with easy access to the historic district. They provide a huge breakfast and are ready to lend a hand with any booking needs. I liked it so much I decided to come back at the end of my trip and do one of their tours.

Cozy retreat in the heart of a big city

This delightful inn has been my home base in Bogota on two occasions, the most recent being a short research trip earlier this month (July 1-12, 2018). It is centrally-locatedthe National Museum is just a 15 minute walk away, for examplewhile also being a cozy refuge from the citys everyday hurly-burly. Its rooms are comfortable and stylish, each with its own unique character. They include amenities such as strong reliable Wi-Fi signals, double-pane glass windows (ensuring nearby traffic doesnt disturb your sleep) and snazzy showers with loads of hot water. But what really makes the difference for me are the inns friendly, eager-to-please hosts. Rick & Beatriz go out of their way to make you feel at home and help you make the most of your visit to the city. Each is a mine of information on local sights, restaurants, etc.. An extra highlight of my last stay was the chance to meet some interesting fellow travelers as the inns small breakfast nook and common area, along with our hosts friendliness, make it easy to strike up a conversation with other guests. This greatly enriched my overall experience
