We were a little surprised when we turned up and there was nobody in the hotel office, but ringing the contact phone number on the door had a friendly manager there in a few minutes. The room was a little tired and an older style but we found it was clean and comfortable. We were glad our room was in the row against the back fence because there were logging trucks on the highway and we didn't hear them at all. Very nice evening as an overnight stopover

The two apartments were satisfactory for our needs although there were limited oven dishes for cooking other than the roasting pan We were surprised to find we had to pay extra for the washing machine and tumble dryer. There was not much room to leave open suitcases around as we didn't want to fully unpack because we were only there a couple of nights.

Beautifully decorated and furnished lodge in lovely country setting. Very quiet and peaceful. Lots of wildlife about - even spotted a wombat. Really enjoyed our stay despite the weather which wasn’t great! And the food at the 3 blue ducks was delicious.
