"We have stayed at this hotel before and enjoyed it but we were quite disappointed to find on arrival after a hot day sightseeing to find the pool closed at 5pm due to lack of staff. The air con in the rooms also wasn't very efficient so had to rely on a fan. It was a very uncomfortable night. On the plus side, staff were lovely and the food was great. Location was perfect for us."
"We had a great stay as a family. Our room had a beautiful sea view, and the kids absolutely loved the bunk beds. The separate kids’ sleeping area, divided by a curtain, gave everyone a bit of their own space, which worked really well for us. The hotel’s beachfront location was fantastic, making it easy to spend time by the sea. We also appreciated the thoughtful family-friendly touches, such as the little spade and beach bucket provided for the children. Overall, it’s a great choice for families with young kids."
"Nice hotel but the car park was limited and a bit tight to access. Also operates on a first come, first served policy but they did allow patrons to park at the front of the building too. Very helpful, attentive and friendly staff from reception to the breakfast staff. Couldn’t do enough for us. Reception staff were very helpful with good local knowledge about buses etc. Bus stops directly outside the hotel which was handy and took us into the heart of the shopping centre from where you can easily find The Lanes and the seafront/pier etc. You can walk to local bars, pubs/restaurants in Hove easily or if you’re used to walking further then Brighton seafront are about an hours stroll.
Easy enough to get the bus or an Uber/taxi back.
Breakfast was good and plentiful. Great continental buffet choices as well as freshly cooked full English (vegetarian option also)
Clean hotel in all areas, based over 5 floors with a huge convenient lift. We stayed in room 51 which had a large bathroom with walk in accessible shower. Water pressure was also very good.
Whilst the room had a fan it was extra hot but that was expected during the freaky heatwave whilst we were there. We had a small balcony which was lovely and we just kept the door and window fully opened the whole time.
The room cooled enough at night to get a proper nights sleep and the bed and bedding were very comfortable. Nice selection of tea/coffee and the complimentary toiletries were lovely too. Highly recommended."
"All staff are extremely helpful and courteous. The room was very clean and comfortable.
Excellent location for the town, the bus and train station and hover craft, however the hovercraft is quite noisy if your room at the front of the building.
Good food at all meals and the free cooked breakfast was a real bonus."
