"Aristieta is located in a beautiful, quiet, bucolic area of Kanpantxu, near Gernika. It is part of an organic farmstead operated by Alex and his wife, the hosts. Their home and farmhouse has been lovingly restored by their family and friends and is a unique property in every sense of the word. We enjoyed our stay very much, and especially, our spacious room with a magnificent view of the surroundings. The breakfasts were simple and tasty. Coffee was great! Eskerrik asko!...and take care of the beautiful Urdaibai Biosphere region that you call your home. "

"Beautiful hotel in the hills northeast of Bilbao. Easy to find, and as convenient as can be expected to drive in and out of the city for a few days. Unlike many places in Spain, good reliable air conditioning. Note that the “Family” room is just one room, so no privacy for anyone sleeping in either of the two beds. Hotel restaurant was good, not great, but good value."

"Great no-frills hotel in the heart of Gernika. The rooms are basic but if you get a good price, I would recommend it for somewhere to stay. The pin entry system makes check in simple and the owners were communicative. "
