We loved the breeze from the ocean and the sounds of the jungle. Howler monkeys and birds. The pool! Our hosts and breakfast were amazing! A very inexpensive Uber ride to town.

Wonderful communication and kindness!

Panama had a lot of political unrest, so unfortunate to say that we did not get to stay in Bocas this trip. Sand Dollar was perfect in their communication with me before payment, after notification of tour company cancelled Bocas, and rapid full refund even with it past the free cancel date. I plan to rebook with Sand Dollar for sure when I make it to Bocas next trip!

Stayed recently for 4 nights. A beautiful property the street from a pretty beach and just down the street from a more usable beach to spend time on. The managers, Steve and Karen, are lovely people that we really enjoyed talking with, very attentive to our needs and helped us out with getting payment to a restaurant when we didn't have cash, but had planned on paying by card. I LOVED the A/C and it would cool down the room fairly quickly, which was great. Bed was comfy, the bathroom nice, everything was quaint and clean. Breakfast was DELICIOUS!! Dama prepared (as well as Karen) made delicious omelettes, sausage dishes, coconut bread, home-made jams (SO yummy!). Only suggestions are: (this one is TOUGH, I know) an elevator (Steve brought up my bag-so kind). Some info. about arrival, as we sat in our taxi at the gate for quite awhile, trying to call and get a hold of someone to let us in. Had my son jump the short gate (didn't know it was unlocked). Met Steve, he said all taxi drivers know to just come in, ours didn't. I was disappointed to find out that we couldn't flush our TP down the toilet. I this to be common in Latin America, but with charge for nice B&B, seems an investment could be made in plumbing, but maybe it just doesn't work in Bocas del Toro. Otherwise FANTASTIC place to stay. Nice and quiet -peaceful. Power went out for 25 min. one night, but came on quickly. Steve and Karen are great!

La casa es una hermosa casa antigua colonial. Con un jardín que es parte de la selva. La ubicación es muy buena. Sharon y Mark siempre tienen excelentes recomendaciones y están siempre dispuestos a que tu estadía sea la mejor.

Wunderschönes authentisches B&B mit außerordentlich lieben hilfsbereiten Gastgebern. Es herrscht eine familiäre Stimmung. Es ist ruhig und nur einen Katzensprung vom schönen Strand entfernt. Mit dem Taxi die alle paar Minuten vorbeikommen ist man in nicht mal 5 Minuten im Zentrum für 1$ pro Person. Perfekte Lage, schöner Pool, schöner Garten mit Kolibris. Das Frühstück ist jeden Tag individuell und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Perfekte Unterkunft

Persönlich, familiär und einfach schön…

Tolle Gastgeber in einem schönen Holzhaus, mit geteilter großer Terasse/Balkon und Meerblick inkl. Meeresrauschen. Zimmer etwas klein und kein besonderer Komfort. Aber der Charme der Anlage und vor allem die beiden Besitzer sind unglaublich, man fühlt sich willkommen und wie zu Hause.

Traumhaftes kleines Resort am Strand

Wunderschönes kleines Resort mit aussergewöhnlichen Gastgebern! Super saubere Zimmer, traumhafter Garten mit grossem Pool. Nur durch kleine Strasse vom Strand entfernt. Zum lebhaften Städtchen Bocas mit vielen Bars und feinen Restaurants kommt man günstig mit Taxi für 1 Dollar per Person. Die Besitzer Sharon und Marc sowie die Haushälterin Dana haben uns wie Familienmitglieder aufgenommen!

Ein Bijou in der Nähe von Bocas Town

Karibisches Flair mit kolumbianisch-argentinischer Gastfreundschaft in einem schönen Haus mit toller Veranda mit Blick aufs Meer. Mit dem (Miet-)fahrrad ist Bocas Town in rund 15 Minuten einfach zu erreichen. Ansonsten fahren ständig Taxis vorbei. Das B&B liegt ruhig in einem gepflegten Garten mit vielen Vögeln, auf der anderen Strassenseite gibt es einen kleinen Strand. Die Gastgeber kümmern sich herzlich um alle Wünsche der Gäste und das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Peaceful retreat, yet close to town

Beautiful, Traditional Bocas architecture. Small B&B with a location across from a great swimable beach. More peaceful than downtown Bocas. Large comfy rooms with good A/c and good airflow if you prefer. Large relaxing veranda with comfy chairs. Should have stayed several days! Only $1 per person when you flag down taxi out front to get to town. Owners are caring folk who make sure you're welcomed and even if our flight was gruesomely early, they provided coffee & yogurt with granola & fruit. Hope to return for a longer stay.

The property is a spacious old-style tropical plantation house, with wide, hardwood floor verandas overlooking the sea. Outside each room are a hammock and two Adirondack chairs overlooking the bay. Everything is clean and lovely. We had a kingsized four-poster bed, and a very large lockable cabinet to keep valuables in. It's a $1 cab ride from town, just far enough away to grant serenity. For my money, it's the best accommodation on the island!

The place is located in a quieter area of Bocas, which is only about 5 minute taxi ride away from the main street ($1/person). The rooms are spacious and clean, the view from the front of the hotel is the beach area, which has a private feel to it as well. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Caretaker Hasso was super helpful with providing info on local places to visit, how to get there and what to expect. Breakfast was excellent as well. Overall two thumbs up!
