"The location is different from the address on Google map, making it difficult to find the place. It's actually in a quite residential area, about 20 min walk to the medina. The room is spacious which can fit 5 people, but the bathroom has a strong cleaning liquid smell. The staffs are boys from the restaurants next door. They're sweet! If you need towel or anything, just go find them next door."

"Disappointed by the stay. Owners were rude except for one of them who tried to make things smoother. The description of the rooms are not representative and we had to argue before getting the room we booked. On top of that we waited an hour before being able to get our keys. Would not recommend."

Very disappointing to find out that all spa facilities were closed, there is not a lot to do apart from relaxing, it is advertised that WiFi is only in common areas, however there’s no service for your phone (4G) which should also be advertised as you cannot even make calls, so you would at least expect there to be other activities and facilities for their guests. "Our stay at Maison d'Hôtes Afassi was great, although we only had one day to explore Chefchaouen. Ahmed was very friendly and helped us pinpoint the must-visit attractions on Google Maps, considering our short stay. Our bus departed at 7 a.m. the next day, so we couldn’t have breakfast at the hotel. However, we are very thankful that Ahmed packed us some food the night before to eat on the bus. We highly recommend everyone visiting Chefchaouen to stay at Maison d'Hôtes Afassi."
