"This weekend was my second visit to the Montage Palmetto. The first time was in February, where all I wanted to do was get a change of scenery from Charleston and do some cycling. That weekend was quiet and calm, and the cycling was superb. This time - the Labor Day weekend - the weather was much warmer, the sunshine was bright, and all the pools were open. The water was refreshing, the bar nearby provided the necessary Negronis, and I was able to play 18 holes at the nearby May River course, complete with a caddie and a full walk. We visited Buffalo's a few times for breakfast and dinner (the staff will golf cart you to and from the hotel) and once at Octagon, which is in the hotel itself. Everything was perfect. I will come back, especially since it's just a 2 hour drive away, and with golfing that rivals - if not beats - Kiawah. Thank you. Christophe"

"The hotel front desk staff was excellent as well as the maintenance team. I would rate this hotel an OVERALL 7.5. My issue which is huge is I used Valet Parking. I had a VERY early flight to depart on 6 September. I arranged the night before with valet parking to leave my car keys at the checkout desk the day before on the night of the 5th. As the valet parking attendant informed me they closed at 11pm and reopened at 6am the next, they communicated they would leave my keys at the front desk since I had to depart by 4am to catch my 650am flight on the 6th. Lo and behold, my family and I go to checkout and my rental vehicle was NOT out front as promised nor were my keys left at the front desk. I had to go retrieve my rental vehicle with the assistance of the clerk at the desk (who was excellent by the way) from where it was parked. This caused delays and panic. I am extremely disappointed given that at 10:53 pm on the 5th of September I visited the front desk and was ASSURED all was taken care of. Other than the inconvenience and panic caused by Valet, it was a great experience."

"I loved this property, The pool and hot tub were very clean. The free breakfast was more than adequate. The free coffee available all day was a plus! I had a loft room with king size bed and to be honest it was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!! I will definitely be back and would highly recommend this property!"

"We love coming here do to the fact that everything is right there, the beach, the shopping, food and entertainment. This is our second stay and we will be back again. One thing I don’t understand is why we have to pay a daily $15 parking fee to park on the property parking lot and why I had to pay all these fees everyday of the stay! Other than that we enjoy it."

"This hotel was absolutely amazing!!! Don’t think twice. Unlimited coffee and champagne, what more could you ask for? The beds and shower are exceptional. Car service, happy hour, it’s like a slice of heaven in Savannah! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"
