"This hotel was just what we needed! We had a terrific room on the 5th floor and noticed they provide guests use of washer & dryer gratis. You only need to buy $2 washing liquid or buy your own. It seems like the town is fairly compact but we did notice that almost everywhere requires paid parking so their free parking for guests is a welcome bonus! Only complaint is the temps were very warm in the room & hallways. "

"We really enjoyed our one night stay here, chosen due to its close proximity to the ferry terminal to Stewart Island. The breakfast was just right and included cooked eggs. Sami was a great host and went above and beyond to accommodate parking requirements and even dropped us at the ferry the morning of our trip. We had slight issues with the carpet being wet (from the shower - previous occupants not using the shower mat) and there was no body wash left, but the views were spectacular and we really loved our stay."
