"Not really it was off when we entered the room. It took a long time to cool the room. "

"Not very clean. The first room we had, was dirty, mold in the shower toothpaste on the sink, curly hair in the sink, electric wires hanging from the ceiling. Had to go to the front desk. They changed our room. But mold in the shower, gritty dirt on the floors. I cleaned the room. Scrubbed the shower. Our stay was 7 days our bed was not changed."

"Very clean with friendly staff. Convenient to Blue Spring park which was the reason for staying. Only 10 minutes from park. Breakfast choices are OK but nothing too exiting. Excellent coffee to start the day. The only stain was the wait for staff member to occupy both toasters while making breakfast for other 4 members of the staff and me as a guest had to wait while she was putting around. Very unprofessional if you ask me. Especially if you are trying to have a breakfast and get on the road. But hotel itself is definitely 5 stars"

"Room, service, food and bar were exceptional. Brian and his team at the Deland Cocktail Company were not only kind, funny and interesting, they were excellent at their jobs. I will definitely stay at the Deland Hotel again."

"The water pressure was great with plenty of hot water. We loved this location. It's beautiful 'old Florida'. It did my heart good to visit there. We really liked our river view room having the option to go out the back door and use the chairs provided to look at the river and hear all the river sounds. Also, regarding the ice cream sold at the shop, the pint containers, the Butter Pecan was dangerously good. And, the woman running the store, in addition to her other duties, was super sweet. Great place and it is where we will stay anytime coming through the area. Loved it! "
