"This was a thoroughly great place to stop for the night. We had been driving through mountains for an entire day and arrived before sunset. Check in with staff was easy and friendly. I was promised waffles that he was going to make himself (sorry for not asking your name!). The room itself was very comfortable and clean and I love that I can park my car right in front of the room. It felt safe and I was able to come outside and sit in the provided chairs and listen to the wind through the mountains. It was very relaxing. Then I went in for bed and the beds were comfortable. Shower was clean. Very disappointed that we had some moo cows ahead of us for breakfast. They decided to eat all of the waffles. The lady thought she'd be funny and make me a 1/4 of a waffle. I had to ignore that comment and that is zero reflection on the property or the owners or staff. They can't help it if they get moo cows. If I'm ever back that way, I'll stop in again and you can trust I'll be up earlier for breakfast and only eat my share of the waffles rather than scarf down the whole lot of them. LOL Thank you for a pleasant stay."

"Such a beautiful sitting in a quaint area of town. Really liked being able to enter our room from outside and not walk any hallways. Very quiet and beautiful grounds. The breakfast was excellent. First time to Gunnison and really enjoyed this tucked in mountain town."

"The important things were great, clean room, everything worked. Lobby needs a refresh, run down and no a/c so very warm throughout weekend. Seating minimal, we wanted to play a game and were offered a coffee table and sofa/chairs. Not ideal for a board game and we were denied access to the “breakfast room”. Other hotels we’ve stayed in typically permit this. If I hadn’t booked online ahead of time, the curb appeal would have deterred a visit, dead grass and weeds everywhere. It looked horrible. Yes, we’re in a drought, but businesses around town, to include other hotels, have either xeriscaped or maintained their grass."

"This is a very comfortable, well supplied condo. It is well located and the acess is easy. The couch is comfy and the king bed dreamy. I appreciated the magazines about the area and the best wildflower book I’ve seen. Reasonably priced for the spacious condo."

"Our 2 bdr unit was huge and had two balconies as well as an in unit washer-dryer with detergent provided - we enjoyed both of those features. The unit was outdated and could use a refresh but was otherwise good. The one balcony was adjacent to the transit center where buses going to Gunnison and downtown Crested Butte were standing and idling their engines which made it unpleasant to stay out there. The furniture on the balconies was dusty/dirty and not amenable to sit on either. The location is nice, right at the base of the resort and we loved the local trails and vibe. We had to pay additional parking and resort fees which were excessive and not included in the expedia rate."
