Great old building that has been lovingly restored. Property has a great pub and restaurant. The room was very comfortable and they really thought of everything you need in the room.

The entire experience was wonderful. It did take a little time to secure power for two CPAP's but eventually we were successful. The lounge was a really comfortable place to sit and have a cocktail, the young lady behind the bar was very friendly and fun to talk with (and had great taste in music!). We enjoyed the laidback atmosphere, even played cribbage while having breakfast before leaving. We will certainl be back!

The Inn is a historic building with all the charm of an 1800 century structure. A bar and restaurant are on the first floor. The service and food I would rate a 10 out of 10. You know the food is good when the local people come here to eat. I highly recommend Barncastle Inn

Great Stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Barncastle! Really changed our views of Bed and Breakfasts. Didn't realize that a place could be both quaint and gorgeous *and* have modernized amenities and be comfortable! We would love to come stay again. Lizzie was so kind and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay!

Historic building

We spent 2 nights. The hotel is a beautiful, historic building built in 1830. Significant effort has been undertaken to honor the history of the building while modernizing the infrastructure. The only complaint I have is that the bed was uncomfortable and the bedding itself is dated. The hosts are very attentive and friendly. They also run a restaurant out of the hotel and although we didn’t eat there, the meals smelled wonderful!
