"Great hotel, stayed in new section, room 219 end of hall. Close to downtown Camden, hannaford grocery store In walking distance. Mini golf next door and Ice cream shop. Beds spectacular and late checkout. Can’t be beat for price!"
"We really enjoyed our stay at the Harkness Hotel. You can tell this property has been thoughtfully renovated. The room was spotless, the sheets were crisp, and the king bed was incredibly comfortable after a full day of exploring the Maine coast.
Our king room faced the back of the hotel, which made it nice and quiet in the evenings for a good night’s sleep. In the morning, we could hear some traffic from Route 1. It wasn’t overwhelming—in fact, it was almost soothing at times, though if you’re a light sleeper it might be a little distracting.
The location was perfect—snuggled between Rockport and Camden, making it easy to explore both towns. It was also just a short drive to the local grocery store and within walking distance of American Flatbread Company, which was a nice bonus.
The hotel focuses on providing a clean, comfortable stay without unnecessary extras, and it does that very well. If you’re looking for a modern, affordable place to stay while exploring Midcoast Maine, the Harkness Hotel is a great choice. We’d definitely stay here again."
"We had such an amazing time at Terramor! The tents are beautiful, the grounds are calming & peaceful, the staff is so helpful &friendly. Michelle in particular was so knowledgeable and gave us great advice that enhanced our stay. We will be back! Maine has our heart now!"
