...after an arduous journey from Chicago. It was a great relief to arrive at Vrooman Mansion after a long day on the road as we started our trip down Route 66 and we received a very warm welcome.
The house and its residential area were lovely, but the interior of the Mansion was particularly delightful being filled with antiques and beautiful furnishings.

Very comfortable and well equipped room. We stayed for a couple of nights, but it would have been good for a longer stay. The room was very spacious and everything was well thought through - distinct bedroom, sofa and kitchenette areas. Lots of lights for different activities and moods. Plenty of plug sockets and usb charging points wherever they might be needed .
Bed and shower were super, and the buffet breakfast had a good choice.
Downside was the location - at the corner of a part...

I recently stayed at the Residence Inn for 6 nights. The hotel has excellent facilities and wonderful staff who do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. My room/suite was spacious, attractively furnished and very, very comfortable. Breakfasts were tasty and generous. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Bloomington.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff at check-in were super friendly and helpful, and we loved the welcome cookie and drink voucher. The bed was incredibly comfortable and gave us the best night’s sleep of our trip so far. We would definitely stay here again.

Pleasantly surprised. Much nicer than expected for a budget hotel. Bathroom looked quite new. Rooms clean and breakfast was good. My hub and I used as a stop over and I would use again.

Huge spacious lobby, clean room super comfortable bed and friendly staff. I was there for a family visit and would definitely stay there again. (And my 81 year-old Uncle found it really easily from the highway, bonus!)
