"We loved everything about our stay, except for the bed. It was hard as a rock. Literally. But staff was amazing and it’s just a 5 minute walk from the train station."

"There were no staff around when I checked in. Had to do it on the tablets. No filtered water anywhere, unless you paid for it. I accidentally left something in the room when I checked out. I message the hotel, and I asked if they have an option to post to London. They said only if I paid for DHL pickup will they provide this as an option. Not the greatest in customer service. The room itself was comfortable for the night."

"The location is fabulous — it took us just 4 minutes to walk to Rotterdam Train Station for trains to Amsterdam Airport or nearby towns. The whole walk is under cover, so rain isn't a worry at all. Super convenient. The hotel is quite new and the room was spotless. The only thing missing was a luggage rack, but the front desk sent one up right away. The internet wasn't working in our room that night, but we could head down to the lobby to get online. The price including breakfast was a big bonus — no need to pay extra or go elsewhere to eat in the morning. The construction outside the hotel didn't affect us at all. Taxis can drop you off just 20 meters away on the right. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to friends visiting Rotterdam."

"First member of staff who checked us in was pretty bad to be honest. They came across as if they really didn’t want to be there. I compared their attitude to the other staff and it was miles apart. Other staff where lovely and very good. Never found the swimming pool or spa area which was a shame as I wanted to use it"

"We had a great stay at Intercityhotel. The room was clean and spacious and was perfect for our girls weekend. We felt safe walking from the train station to the hotel even late at night. The hotel is very accessible to get any where in Amsterdam with transit, we didn't have to uber at all. The pathway to the train station does contain stairs, so something to keep in mind if you have accesibility needs, but not at all the hotel's fault. The bar staff was polite, and went above and beyond for our requests."
