Room was shabby and outdated. AC was so loud I couldn't sleep. Indoor pool was dark and dingy. Indoor hot tub area was closed for renovations. Crescendo pizza was good. Service was great. Breakfast buffet was terrible. Checked out after one night. Definitely not worth $155 - very disappointed!

Overall ok. Rooms are basic. Could use an upgrade. I requested a late checkout and twice the staff managed to still enter my room. If I return to Wilkes Barre I will likely stay somewhere else.

Down Elevator call button was broken, and the rooms looked like they had been done in the 70s and then not touched since. Drunks and smokers were always hanging around the entrances. Rooms were clean, and staff was friendly.

The motel and my room was beautifully decorated, very clean and the Lynn at the front desk was extremely helpful at check in. Both the pizza and the waitress, Christina, at Crescendos were awesome! The missing star is due to horrific communication on the shuttles I needed to and from the airport. I would absolutely highly recommend The Woodlands but if you require airport shuttle(s) definitely call to confirm and note the date, time and who you spoke with. Then call to confirm again the day before needed.

Thought this property was awesome. Rooms were clean and quiet. Staff were helpful and nice. Dining options were great too. Had Hibachi and breakfast buffet. Loved the woodsy grounds with the paths and outdoor seating areas. Shuttle to Mohegan Ctr was very convenient and appreciated.

I found a bug in my bed and black hairs around my toilet and I rented two rooms and one was in each. Disgusting! Woodlands use to be a good name growing up now the Hilton is better it’s a shame.

The Woodlands is an affordable, convenient pet friendly property with amenities such as indoor and outdoor pools, a Zen garden, gym, and two very good dining experiences, the Shogun hibachi restaurant and Crescendo’s, a bar that has wood-fired pizza. Breakfast is available, too. Parking is abundant. In the warmer months, there’s an outdoor bar overlooking the falls. If you’re in the area to visit your college student at any of the nearby colleges and universities, this is an affordable option.

The Woodlands was a great stay. Sitting on my balcony watching the river outback was very relaxing. The place can use some uppdating, but that wouldn't prevent me from going back. Seems like they were working on some updates while I was there. Taking my dog for a walk in the woods outback annd down by the river was relaxing.

I came an hour after check in .. I had to wait for a room to get cleaned . I believe I was given an handicap room . Definitely an inconvenience ! I wasn’t too happy about it .. I was told they were going to see what they could do but they never got back to me.

Decent enough, site is not very handicap accessible. They have rooms that you can get to, but very limited of you can't do steps can't use any amenities

We as a family enjoyed our stay at Woodlands. It provided everything from a pool, club and delicious food at a great price. Staff was also very nice and ready to help.

Although food and entertainment options are good, the property is in great need of updates. The room given to us had no moulding and oddly shaped bathroom with cracks in the walls. Old and run down equipment made our stay for the night not so comfortable. It was extremely cold.
