"Hotel in great location facilities good rooms spacious comfortable and very clean. Staff welcoming and informative. Breakfast was great plenty of choice and we were greated with a jovial smile by the lady(from huddersfield) who helped us listened to customers and was so friendly. Great stay would have gave all 5*however i believed i had left my keys after i had left. They asured me they would check with house keeping and ring me back . They didnt as i rang them 4 hours later to find they didnt have them. Disappointing customer service in this respect"

"Useful local hotel to our home where we stayed the night while the house was going through renovations; clean room, lovely large space, plenty of seating. Staff were very attentive although I noticed that later in the evening there was a queue to reception as only one staff attended to them and the other was busy elsewhere. Bar was good, not a huge range but had what we needed. Breakfast was good too - a good range of choices and everything was fresh. Could do with some proper local produce for the cooked breakfast."

"Great location, and staff were very helpful. Excellent secure parking. We enjoyed breakfast - the porridge and cinnamon toast were excellent. The menu offered a wide choice. Bed was comfy, but we were there in a hot spell of weather, and there was no air con in the room. The fan in the room did help a little, but it was still very warm for sleeping. The room could have been cleaner however. We had a room which had a bath, shower and vanity unit in the bedroom with a separate toilet. The edges of the floor of the toilet were not clean, and the top of the skirting was laden with dust."
