"The room had a faul smell either from prior smoking or old carpets. There if we didn’t have that smell, it would have been for the prize. The room and the bathroom were nice and clean. The bed was comfortable; nice pillows and blanket. We didn't really use the breakfast but it was basic and we could not expect more for the price. Nice area with dining options, close to VT."

"Good facility, great price. Building as a whole smelled of smoke, but my room was a non-smoking room and was fine. The bed, however, was very soft and almost felt like the mattress was broken. Breakfast was good. "

"I always love staying at the Inn. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Best night of sleep I've gotten in months. Right on the edge of campus across the street from the University Mall. Easy access to shopping and dining options. My only wish is that there were complimentary bottled water in the rooms."

"Extremely friendly, family owned. Nowhere near the cleanest or most aesthetically pleasing, but very comfortable and homey. Clean enough to lay your head and take a shower. Perfect for short stays or long term lodging. Would book again"

"The customer service was great the convenience was great the best friend in a non-smoking room had multiple cigarette hole Burns which was a huge turn off and there was a loose train between the floors the ceilings were kind of falling on and there was a lot of decay in the property of the room that I stayed in but overall very comfortable stay enjoyed the bed the television options just would be a really wonderful place to stay if there was some updates and repairs to the rooms thank you"

"Overnight stop and I have stayed here several times. Room had been recently renovated and was very nice and was very clean. Comfortable bed. I travel with my dog and there is a good amount of grassy area to walk her. I would like to see poop stations added or at least a sign reminding people to pick after their pets because a lot don’t! I will always pick this hotel for my travel to my family. "

"Super 8 fit my desire for a safe and convenient place to stay near Virginia Tech. Staff were friendly and kind and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is very close to a number of restaurants, stores, and the university, and it was the best price of the hotels I searched. Breakfast is quite sparse, and the amenities and general "feel" are fairly no-frills, but it fit the bill for my purposes, and I had a very nice experience."
