What a lovely place. The owner speaks very little English, but on our first morning he’d asked his son to come and explain the area to us. The room was very comfortable, the heating was on (mid April) and it was cosy. The shower room is clean and the shower was great, but the room is very small with wooden doors that open out. The traditional breakfast was excellent and blackcurrant juice was available as I don’t drink cay (chai) or coffee. There’s a lovely terrace and when we came back mid...

Clean, large room, Good bed. Own car park. Good AC and wi fi and not far from the motorway. Staff were very helpful with suggestions on where to eat, carrying luggage and all round friendly. Breakfast was good. Free tea and coffee. It's a bit Premier Inn/Ibis like (which to be honest was what I wanted and expected) but it has a bigger room than any Premier Inn or Ibis and staff were more personable. Bars and restaurants are nearby. I was using it as a stop point between Cappadocia and Istanbul...

Perfect place for a quiet rest. Very friendly staff. Everything was perfect. Dogs in the garden are very friendly and playful as well. Clean & peaceful. Definetely will visit again. The road is a bit narrow village road but all green around. Satnav was showing a bridge that was being built so be careful to use the alternative route

The owner mr Osman did everything to make my stay an unforgettable experience. He collected me from the central bus station late at night and organised my return journey to Ankara airport I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and will certainly use it again if I go back .The hotel is perfectly located to explore the ancient village. I recommend this hotel .

The manager of the Konagi was a very helpful and friendly person. I would definitely go back. 5 stars ***** for my stay.

I think this is the best hotel during my travel around Turkey. The buidling was traditional house of Saffranbolu and it was soo beautiful. The room and bathroom was very clean and spotless. The bed was comfy and I slept very well here. The hotel has a spacious garden that’s so perfect to enjoy your breakfast. The breakfast was really good and make sure you have it in this hotel. Another thing, the hotel location is so perfect. Close to the center yet so quiet, and you don’t need to climb the...

Perfect place for a quite time off. Lovely owners. Enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Beautiful room, very attentive staff, and perfect location. The view from our room was breathtaking. Thanks to Ismail, Abdulla, and the third chap who was lovely but we couldn't recall his name. Top tip: Check out Taşev restaurant just next door. It was so lovely we went both nights.

Absolutely amazing. Lovely host and his wife. It’s an old building almost everything is wooden, I’ve had a wonderful sleep. Just a few feet away from the old streets/bazaar. From the time I arrived, to the time I left both husband and wife made me feel special and took care of everything. Oh and the lady makes delicious cookies and sauces! Only stayed less than a day but the impression is ever lasting. Beautiful place and people. Throughout my ten days in Turkey (I frequently travel to Turkey...

Firstly, the property is very authentic with the loveliest view of the town. It is also one of the cleanest I’ve stayed at. The location is great, it is very close to the old bazaar. The breakfast is ready made for you when you arrive which I personally prefer (so it’s not buffet style) and it is very tasty and filling. Definitely recommend this place when staying in Safranbolu.
